Bedrock Motel & RV Park Mayo, YT

Located in the scenic Silver Trail region of central Yukon, the Bedrock Motel is a spacious twelve (12) room property situated in the community of Mayo, a 400 km drive north of Whitehorse. The newly renovated motel sits on a 5-acre parcel of land and includes RV facilities providing ten (10) upgraded full service pads, dump station and 30 amp service.

Grass tenting and camping is also available along with propane sales. The Bedrock offers year round service.

Everything is relative. The staff was helpful and extremely informative and helpful. For the price, even for the Yukon, the room wasn't quite up to par. Even with the recent renovations, the window didn't close properly and the screen was bent, leaving an opening for the bugs. The doors slam loudly and the hallway is smelly, loud and echoes. Still not a bad place to stay for a night.

And the staff at the bedrock are very friendly, and make it a priority for you to enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean, tidy, and as good as anyone I have slept in down south. I would recommend the bed rock to anyone.

This place is open again. With 10 RV pads featuring 30 amp service, 12 renovated guestrooms with mini fridges, microwaves, queen beds, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Haven't seen the renovations yet. I imagine it would be an improvement from before. More then likely I would be renting a room there in the future.

This place just shut down / Sold .It iss getting renovated and is supposedly opening up in the summer again.

Fresh, clean, spacious and nicely renovated. New baseboard heaters for chilly days. No dated flower print bed covers or curtains. Mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in the room. One thing the rooms can use (and definitely have room for) is a small dining table and chairs. There's a work desk in the room for business travelers. 11 min walk to the airport.

The place is in dire need of renovation and upgrade. The rooms are very smelly and very cold if you get lucky and have to stay in winter time. And the front of the lodge is covered with dog poops and yellow snow. 👎👎👎

- Building smells like a fraternity house
- Rooms had no heat. Lucky to get a space heater. But we had two rooms with only one heater. My colleague slept with his clothes on because it was cold. We filled our tubs with hot water to help with the heat.
- Bulbs were blown/missing.
- TV was old and needs to be updated.
- Had to go to local grocery store to buy food to cook in the microwave in the main dining hall. No microwave in the room.
- Owner dogs roamed freely inside the building and the hallways.
Here on business and will make sure that no one else stays here.
