Cedar Grove Cottages is a family resort that has been enjoyed by many for generations. It is nestled on the shore of the beautiful Cameron Lake, just south of Tobermory, Ontario. Cameron Lake is a spring-fed, 350 acre inland lake and is 55 ft deep at its deepest point. It flows into Cypress Lake though a tributary that can be accessed by canoe or kayak.
The water in Cameron Lake is clean, clear, and much warmer than Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. A lakefront cottage with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, full kitchen, living room area with a pull out couch and a 3 piece bath. This cottage has a lovely deck overlooking the lake.

We are a lakeside family resort, located on Cameron Lake in Tobermory, Ontario - Open Late June to September. Cedar Grove Cottages is a family resort that has been enjoyed by many for generations. It is nestled on the shore of the beautiful Cameron Lake, just south of Tobermory, Ontario. Cameron Lake is a spring-fed, 350 acre inland lake and is 55 ft deep at its deepest point.
All of our cottages are fully equipped with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, cooking utensils, dishes. All are heated and have private bathrooms with showers. Please bring your own bedding (including sheets fitted, flat, pillow cases and comforters), towels (shower and beach), soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, personal toiletries, kitchen towels and dish cloths.
Enjoy our recently updated fleet of single and two person kayaks, and stand up paddle boards. All new in 2021! All of our boats are for use exclusively on Cameron Lake and can not be transported to any other location. For additional details on boat rentals and excursion highlights, please contact the office.

We loved our week at Cedar Grove Cottages! The staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming! It is the perfect place if you want a low key, relaxing atmosphere that is both dog and family friendly. We loved the beach for young kids and the many trails you can take from the cottages for biking and running. Thank you to Jim, Ben and Jane.

We stayed here recently for a week and it was amazing. The accommodations were superb value for the week, the kayaking was great and since you're very close to the Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park you have amazing hiking nearby. There's even a kayaking route to the Grotto which we didn't take, but the kayaking in Cameron and Cyprus Lakes (and especially the beautiful creek between) were amazing. The service and staff are great people as well. Book early (3 months+ in advance) to avoid disappointment.

Our kids learned to canoe on this trip and loved it! They can't wait until the next canoeing trip. It was quite an adventurous route when you go all the way to the other beach through the low lying trees. Just be careful not to get stuck through the muck in the 2nd beach which was shallow. We lost a few sandals. It's like sinking sand.

Would highly recommend Cedar Grove Cottages if you are in the area and looking for a place that is both ideally located (about 10 min from Tobermory and two minutes from the Grotto entrance) and equipped with a variety of activities to do. The cottage was well-maintained and comfortable, boat rentals were more than reasonably-priced, and the service was excellent. Very glad we opted to go this route rather than some of the other options we were looking at. Will definitely be back!

5th time returning and will Return again ! Wonderful beach for the kids to play! Wonderful place to relax and unwind while the kids are always busy entertaining themselves (and us). Nightly campfires, the most incredible star gazing. So much fun on the lake! Cottages are clean, nice and comgortable with everything you need and want. The owners are attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Not enough good things to say about the place! Will be back!

Beautiful setting just a paddle away from the national park. This is a lovely relaxed cottage resort run by a family who clearly care about it. We loved our stay and would definitely come again. The cabins are well supplied with all you would need for simple meals and barbeques. The camp fire is lit every evening. Our two boys (2 and 4) loved the beach and sand toys and warm shallow lake entry.
