If you compost at home then you already have a good understanding of what we do here at Vancouver Island Enterprises-only on a much larger scale! We take organic yard waste to produce 100% organic compost, which is then blended with topsoil to create a nutrient-rich blend. This compost, along with our sand products, mulches and drainage rocks can help you create the landscape of your dreams!
If you're looking to stock up on soil for any type of landscaping project, Vancouver Island Enterprises is the team you need to talk to help you meet your soil requirements. We pride ourselves on producing quality organic soil that will optimize your growing conditions. Healthy soil is at the root of a healthy garden.
If your landscaping project includes any structured elements, sand is an ideal choice to prep the desired area before building. Vancouver Island Enterprises supplies washed sand to ensure a solid base for underneath paver stones, sand boxes, piping, retaining walls, and more. It also works great as topdressing for lawns and fields with poor drainage, as well as for livestock stalls.
Even when the growing season has come to an end, we are still hard at work. That's because Vancouver Island Enterprises also offers snow and ice removal throughout Comox during the cold weather months. Serving home and business owners, we offer snow plowing and sanding/salting programs to de-ice driveways, sidewalks, roads and parking lots.

Really sad about my garden soil order :( Recieved their Organic Garden Soil Blend, only to find handfuls upon handfuls of pieces of household plastic waste- granola bar wrappers and what looked like pieces of shredded plastic bag- this was my first time purchasing soil from them as they came recommended, but unfortunately this will have to be the last as I cannot afford another load intime for the season to start. Please be wary of the quality of the soil you purchase, and do your best to pick up the soil yourself after having a close look at it onsite. Had i done so, I wouldnt have had it loaded
