PickNic's Catering and Fine Foods Saskatoon has taken many twists and turns to become what it is today! PickNic's was opened in its original location in the CIBC building on 21st Street East Saskatoon in April of 2003, operating under the name PickNic's Bakery and Bistro. In 2004 we moved to our second location at 212-22nd Street East where we operated as PickNic's Restaurant and Fine Pastries for 5 years.
Here at PickNic's Catering and Fine Foods, every last thing we make is made from scratch right in our kitchen; from our homemade cheese tray, breads, sauces, and juices to our scrumptious tortes and pastries. We guarantee that the freshness and flavour of your meal will delight your tastebuds! We cater weddings, business events, small private parties, anniversaries, family reunions, cocktail gatherings, corporate lunches, galas and more.
Your selections will be packaged in attractive containers for each guest, and will include any required cutlery and also napkins. Pricing is per person and includes Individual Packaging Surcharge. Option #1: Choose 6 Hors d'Oeuvres from the menu, plus your guests will receive a Mini-Charcuterie which includes a selection of Fancy meats, House-made Pickled Garden Veggies, Crackers.
Tired of having the "same old same old" at your morning meeting? Bored of brown bagging it for your lunch meeting? Let us inject a whole new concept. Freshly made Hot Breakfasts and Lunches, along with the freshest of sides, including fruits, salads, pastries, and much more! Start your day with a variety of cold breakfast menu ideas like our Good Morning Parfaits, Fresh Fruit Platters and Assorted Pastries.
Best for Mid-afternoon Events (1-5 PM), or Later Evening (7-10 PM) where the event runs for 1-2 Hours. Choose 3 types of Cold Hors d'Oeuvres and 2 types of Hot Hors d'Oeuvres, 1 Slider Choice plus 2 Platter Options for your group. Can be Used as a Classy Lunch or Dinner Replacement, excellent for Networking Purposes where a meal is still needed.

I highly recommend picknic catering. They are true professionals. I was afraid my orders were too small for them to cater to, but after speaking with Nicola she assured me no orders is ever too small. The individually wrapped charcuterie boxes and mini cup cakes were a hit.

Nicola and the team have catered so many of my events over the years, always delicious and the desserts especially have amazed my guests every time! The latest cake was for my mothers surprise 80th birthday, all I did was tell them what the event theme was going to be and they did the rest. The cake was spectacular ( taste wise and decorated ) and was enough to feed an army!
PicNic’s could never be accused of under catering, they always provide everything they promise and whether I pick up, they deliver or they serve- 10-100 people...it is always outstanding!!

PickNic's catered a wedding we attended this summer. We were given such small portions of hot food, it wouldn't have fed a toddler. They used lunch size plates, filled the plate with a bun and salad. We were left hungry to say the least. I would not recommend this business to cater a big event. Also, the desserts did not taste good, definitely not home made.

What makes a great business from my POV is not only the product, but how it is delivered, and how things are done under pressure. Nikola is a class act and her team does wonder in fulfilling the requests of its clients.
Due to my action of being late for a pickup, PickNic's was late for a delivery which hurt their reputation. If said business leaves a poor review, please know it is likely because of them being late. And that is on me.
PickNic's does good with their product and service, and I recommend their service for all.

Picknic's just catered our wedding on Saturday and OH MY GOD, IT WAS SOOO GOOD. Every single one of our guests raved about how good it was! Some even said it was better than their own wedding/weddings they had attended recently!
Nicola and Krista and the gang made it super easy for us! From the dish rental to the bartending to the meal to the cake to the donuts, everything was absolutely perfect! And they made it so easy for our guests with allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions to navigate the buffet! The service was amazing from beginning to end. Worth every single penny!
