Reaching out and researching professionals who can help can be an intimidating and overwhelming experience. However, finding the right fit for you (or a family member) is absolutely critical to achieving the results you are wanting. So allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dawn Furlong and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists serving Okotoks and surrounding areas.

Providing consultation and support from an Attachment-based framework to parents and adolescents. Completed several advanced training courses at the Neufeld Institute (all rooted in Attachment-based developmental psychology), including Intensive I & II training, Advanced Intensive Making Sense of Therapy, as well as many others.

Inspired Psychological Services offers a series of workshops addressing a variety of topics designed to inspire you in the various areas of your life, such as parenting, romantic relationships, careers, and teaching. I am also a certified ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer and am able to assist with arrangements for this 2-day training.

For adolescent clients, any additional parent consultation (in person, by phone, or by email) initiated outside of scheduled sessions will also be billed in 15-minute increments at a rate of $200/hour, unless initiated by the psychologist out of duty to report. These fees are in line with the approved recommended fees for Registered Psychologists in Alberta as set by the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA).
