As a company built on family values, our story can't begin anywhere but with the Nickel family themselves. In 1966, as a family of seven, the Nickel family immigrated to Canada from Paraguay with two suitcases and $250 in their collective pockets. Needless to say, this set the stage for the values that built Nickels Cabinets: hard work, honesty, and integrity.
Driven to build a company from scratch, Dieter approached his parents with a big idea: Nickels Cabinets. After a little convincing, the idea caught fire and Dieter and his parents became partners. His father, Peter, left his framing work to begin building cabinets with Dieter.

We're a cabinet company 40 years in the making, specializing in Frameless European-Style cabinets. Nickels Cabinets warrants that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use at the initial site of installation. This warranty is applicable to the original consumer purchaser for as long as they own their home and is non-transferable.
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by exposure to moisture, exposure to extreme temperatures, acts of God, improper storage, handling, installation, misuse, abuse, neglect nor does it cover normal incidental deterioration such as nicks, scratches, abrasions and natural aging whether resulting from the effects of normal wear and tear or abnormal use.
