Back in 1956 Wayne Harder opened WH Signs in Trail and Through the years the name changed to Interior Advertising ltd. In 1995 after a 4 year apprenticeship and 18 years working with his father, Steven purchased the business and called it Interior Signs. In the beginning all Signs were Hand Lettered, then slowly the computers arrived and now most signs are computer generated, but occasionally Steven will letter a sign by hand.

Steven Harder, owner of Interior Signs, started making signs at the age of seventeen. Working under his father Wayne Harder who opened his business "Interior Advertising" in 1956.
