One of the most important creations for our modern society is the use of concrete. With a structural integrity that can last for decades, it is an incredibly strong and durable material that requires little maintenance. And it's such an integral part of what we do, that it's included in our name! A.M.A. Paving and Concrete offers precision concrete services in Hamilton for residential and commercial applications of all types.
Just like regular concrete, exposed aggregate can go on a wide variety of surfaces, but is most commonly used in parts that are visible. That's because, when combined with concrete, exposed aggregate creates a surface that is both aesthetically charming and resistant to marks like skids, left by heavy traffic.
One option that is incredibly durable for creating a new surface is using interlocking stones. When done properly, interlocking stones create instant curb appeal and an elegant sense of charm for your home. Additionally, the amount of maintenance required for interlocking stone surfaces is minimal when they have been sealed to avoid weeds.

I decided to try this company after a neighbour had mention that they did an alright job on her ashphalt driveway, big mistake. The owner was friendly to get the job but his attitude changed quickly when there was issues after the job was so called complete. The first issue was where they tied in this new driveway to my old one was joined at a low spot which after only a few months shrunk and made a channel of water get into my basement. I've spent hundreds of dollars to seal that seam, driveway and all along my foundation after the ashphalt shrunk almost immediately. Second issue was they never

I had AMA paving do a concrete curb and asphalt driveway in Oct 2015. The contract says they used 6-8” of stone and 3” of asphalt after compaction.
Although it looked nice for the first year and the concrete is still holding up, by summer 2016 weeds had already begun growing through the asphalt. It took me 3 calls before I could get somebody to acknowledge they would show up and take a look. They showed up without contacting me and just threw some sealant on it and patted it down. After another month or so weeds were re-growing everywhere, unfortunately tearing up the asphalt along with it

They did a good job on redoing our driveway, BUT a year later they came to seal it. Charged too much so I thought it would be a superior job. It looked horrible. Even in the past when we had college kids apply sealant, it looked better. Now, the big problem is that I phoned the company, emailed them etc., many times AND they never returned our pleas, to redo the sealing, as most companies would do to make up for errors in work. I would not recommend this company because of those reasons.
