IWL Steel Fabricators is a premier custom steel fabrication shop located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Between our two shops, we have thirty thousand square feet of enclosed fabrication and processing area as well as 4.5 acres of laydown area. The largest project completed to date by IWL Steel Fabricators is the Conveyor Gallery segments for the Agrium Vault Project at Vanscoy, SK.

In 2012, IWL was purchased by the Clearwater River Dene Nation, and is 100% First Nation-owned. IWL Steel Fabricators continues to focus on industrial, commercial and institutional projects of all sizes.
While IWL Steel Fabricators has been in business for the past 60 years, Clearwater River Dene Nation has been 100% owner since 2012. Plasma cutting fabrication system downloads files directly from our 3D modeling software to process beam, channel, HSS and angle. Process functions include measure and cut to length, coping, hole drilling and piece marking. Direct file download for plate and pipe processing. Pipe processing capabilities are from 2" to 12" DIA at a maximum length of 20'-0.
IWL has continuously worked within the Saskatchewan mining and heavy industrial sector for the past sixty years. Through our qualified subtrades, we are able to provide various surface preparations such as sandblasting, epoxy paint, tile lining, galvanizing and powder coating.
We have years of experience working with various material grades and alloys including carbon steel, stainless steel, T21, Inconel, AR400, QT400 and chromium carbide overlay plate.Heat numbers and material test reports are available for all material, resulting in traceability for quality management purposes.
