Who knew that when I made the decision to get into the food industry way too many years ago it would lead us to this point, here and today. Starting as a little family cafe, known as Babushka's Cafe and Haberdashery, we built it into a pretty successful business, selling our homemade products of perogies, cabbage rolls, kolabassa and of course our baking.
With a name change to reflect our changing menus we have morphed into Mr Moms World Catering and Events. We have a full range of services, that are capable of making any event the talk of the town. Our catering went to another level after we catered an outdoor event for the Ladner Business Association (LBA).

If the cabbage is still tough or sour after cooking - they haven't been cooked long enough. Brush the frozen pie and bake on middle rack of your oven at 350 for about 50 min to one hour. The top should be a nice golden brown. You may add to the hole on top a tablespoon of heavy cream for extra creaminess.
Our staff thrives in the world of event catering. The services offered by Mr Moms World Catering are comprehensive and integrate everything from venue setup to menu creating. We have partnered with the most dependable suppliers in the Surrey, BC area to make sure your affair runs effortlessly.

I saw their pop up cafe with Ukrainian food posted. I drove in and asked if it was the good Ukrainian type and she said yes. I got the Borscht with a bun that was $9.95 and it was a bowl of basically beets. Packed with beets, a few pieces of carrots and a piece of potatoe and very little liquid. Tasted like boiled beets with a little dill flavour. Most definitely not Ukrainian. No cabbage at all. I was so looking forward to trying their perogies and cabbage rolls but definitely not.

Amazing food!! Stopped by to stock up on the great frozen foods (lots of meat & veggie cabbage rolls & perogies) and got myself a potato & leek soup and some of the vanilla cake with blueberry sauce and oh my word. SO GOOD!!! Those portions are huge and everything was amazing! Looking forward to my next visit.

We had the perogies, borscht, buns, kolbassa, and still need to try the other items we ordered. Yummy all around. A bit pricey but sometimes you gotta pay for home cooked goodness. The buns remind me of what my grandma used to make us. The borscht is the broth with chopped beets and potatoes flavored with dill. My husband added in the sour cream. The people who work there are so friendly and we'll definitely go again.

Worst cabbage rolls I ever tasted. I asked for the rice and pork and instead received bacon. The filling consisted of mushy glutinous rice with maybe a one quarter square of bacon. 17 dollars for 12 of the smallest cabbage rolls I have seen. Do not waste your money buying this frozen product. Ours were so inedible they went in the garbage.
