Established as Ziegler McCann Architects in 1991 in the town of Collingwood, the firm evolved into "Richard Ziegler Architect" in the spring of 1993, and moved to the Beaches area of Toronto.
The office became incorporated in 2006, and in the Fall of 2009 the office moved to its current location in the Toronto Portlands.
