For 15 years I've been dragging around my cameras with me just about everywhere I go. I can't say I have this incredible journey towards being a professional photographer, I didn't get a camera as a gift as a child nor did I feel I looked at the world in any particular "artsy" way. But I connect well with people, I always have.
I know you know what you want but you probably have no idea how to get there. I've done this once or twice, so take a deep breath and let's meet up for coffee at my studio to discuss your options. It can be overwhelming planning your wedding day - It's why I offer no obligation consultations, where we can go over a customized wedding day timeline and sort out the "ins" and "outs" of your big day in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Time for family photos! One of my favourite parts of being a photographer is capturing candid family photos in cool and unique locations. Find an old barn, go run through the fields, walk the sidewalks and alleys of downtown, head to the beach. Literally endless opportunities for great photos are just a short walk or drive away.

So thankful we had Rob take our AMAZING winter family photos. Quick booking, awesome session, great communication and fast photo turnaround. Rob was such a friendly and easygoing photographer who made it easy for all of us (even my 12-year old) to be natural in front of the camera, ensuring fantastic photos. We hired Robert Russell Photography when our first child was born and have since called on Rob for family photos throughout the years. He's incredibly professional, but most importantly for us, he's patient and manages to find ways to get the most out of the young kids (which can always be a challenge to have sit still and smile!). Was absolutely thrilled with our time spent with Rob and the results we received. It was a relaxed, fun photo session. I have had the absolutely privellage of working with Rob for the past year. He is an incredible photographer without a doubt! Its not just that though. He is down to earth, kind, funny and spirited, which you can clearly see in his amazing work and was a pleasure to work with.
