At the end of the job I had a dispute with the owner about what was included in the quote. They admitted that the original quote included a line item that was confusing and after a lot of back and forth offered to take $200 of the bill. The original quote also included materials that ended up not being needed so the final bill should have been reduced on that basis alone. The owner did not deal with my questions in a professional manner and went on to send me an abusive text message after the bill was paid in full and I subsequently had to block his number.
