Since 1960, when John Kalivas opened the restaurant, Jon's Restaurant has been the social hub of Brockville. Sitting at the bar and chatting with any member of the family or staff while having a meal or a drink is a famous Brockville pastime. Discussing current events, sharing the latest jokes, talking politics or sports are what makes Jon's Restaurant your kitchen away from home.

Dining at Jon's is a lively and pleasant experience - one which you will want to experience again, and again. Of all the restaurant establishments in Brockville, Jon's Restaurant has got to have the most dedicated regular customers. Many have made Jon's their regular dining destination for decades.

We got the breakfast poutine before heading off on the train. It was delicious and the staff was friendly. Since we let them know we had a train to catch they prioritized us. A great place to get a meal.

Husband and I went for a very late breakfast. Tried the eggs Benedict for the first time and it was delicious! We always love going to John's for the food, friendly staff and welcoming environment.

Excellent breakfast, with wonderful friendly service. It was such a pleasure to be able to have breakfast in a Jon's restaurant once again. All covid protocols in place, QR code, personal ID and contact tracing. Thank you Jon's, see you soon.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Nice people.
Two eggs over easy: runny yolk and hot
Bacon: crispy and lots of it
Home fries: crispy outside, tender inside
Toast: good ratio of butter to bread
Pancakes: fluffy and buttery
Time for a nap.

Only a 2 because we didnt eat there - travelled over half an hour to find it was take out only. I see they have take out menu posted, but maybe they should specify no dine in? and take off all the attributes like cozy and highchair . With restaurants opened back up - we thought they had also.

Great food, reasonable prices and fantastic staff. We stop here on Montreal to Kingston trips, and are always pleased. Like "Cheers", this is a place where the regulars are all known by name. Why stop at McD or another chain while home cooking awaits you at Jon's?

An awesome Diner! First and foremost the value. You are getting your money's worth when you come in here. Actually more than that when you consider the service as well.
It seemed to be in usually busy on a Saturday morning in such a small tow. But the food came in in a reasonable amount of time and the quality was good. The interior is nice and has a very quaint but Diner feel to it. Great for families.
They provide the proper standard breakfast. Coffee is great and I was told the home fries are made locally.

It was a good breakfast and a good price. It was packed so it must be a local favourite. It was very reasonably priced for breakfast at $7.35 plus tax. That included coffee. The staff were friendly and we were seated quickly.
