Kgi
We have been manufacturing heavy duty specialty axles for over 35 years. We pride ourselves on our ability to produce small or large quantities of highly customized axles for unique applications. Our axles are manufactured from proprietary quenched and tempered alloy steel for highest impact properties in extreme temperatures.

When properly maintained, they easily outlast the service life of most equipment they are used with. We manufacture many of our axle components in-house. We use premium quality materials and check our axles for conformance and quality at each step of the manufacturing process. Even the smallest details are checked.
Services
At KGI, we believe that reliability is the product of innovative engineering, attention to detail, and true dedication. With these values Al Genberg co-founded the company back in 1978 and these same values run deep through KGI today under Al's son, Luke Genberg. Manufacturing of functional, reliable heavy-duty axles is the absolute priority for us.
We take great pride in designing and manufacturing each of our products with the goal of providing the highest quality and performance possible at a reasonable price. We use only the highest-quality materials, and thorough quality control techniques to insure the reliability and long life of our products.
The core components on our Self-Steer axles are manufactured from a proprietary, military-grade quenched and tempered alloy steel. This gives our axles the highest impact values for a wide range of operating temperatures in the industry. We design our Self-Steer axles to North American standards, which allows for a simple rebuild from commonly available parts for wearable components.
Our in-line king pin Force-Steer axles have been in production for many years and have grown in popularity thanks to their versatile and robust design. They are well suited to heavy duty applications and are rated for 25,000 lb and 30,000 lb. They are commonly used on steer dollies, trailers, and mobile equipment.
Our off-highway axles have been available in capacities up to 65,000 lbs for many years, and now are available up to 100,000 lbs. These axles are commonly used on off-road trailers, tankers, and mobile equipment. Like our Self-Steer and Force-Steer axles, the Off-Highway axles are manufactured from proprietary quenched and tempered alloy steel for highest impact properties in extreme temperatures in the industry.
