Wilson's Truck Lines
The family and the business have flourished and stayed on track with John Wilson's vision. John Wesley Wilson started the company in 1937 with four red Dodge, single axle trucks and four 20 ft. Company founded by John Wesley Wilson after purchasing a truck to transport goods from his local farm to Toronto.

He then bartered for 3 more trucks under contract with A&P Canada. Wilson's operates the first tractor trailer shipment in northern Ontario on all gravel roads. James Wilson purchased the family business from Carl Wilson, at which time A&P Canada and Dominion stores were the primary clients. A&P Canada purchases Dominion stores, in return giving Wilson's an increase in business and replacing Laidlaw Transport and Dominion stores' private fleet.
Services
Our entire team is extremely proud of how far we've come and are excited for what the future holds for Wilson's Truck Lines. For over 8 decades, Wilson's and its iconic brands have delivered innovative logistics solutions and dedicated truck transport services.

With a legacy of opening truck transport service to the Ontario north lands, the company expanded its presence in the grocery business by becoming a leader in some of the earliest technologies for connectivity, productivity, safety and security solutions. Our "Never Say No" policy has secured a reputation of premium customer service and has us positioned to deliver client satisfaction for years to come.
Safety, performance, consistency, autonomy and accountability are core values of our company. The difference between good and great, between a B and an A+, is applying that extra effort to the details that matter. Prioritizing what is most important to our customers, our staff, drivers and management, helps us determine our areas of focus for improvement.
We utilize the latest engine technology to minimize fuel consumption and maintain effective emission controls. We have many responsibilities, not the least of which is our impact on the environment. In many cases you can only serve Ontario's population by road. This has compelled us to do our part to reduce our emissions on the highway and at our facilities.
As we drive into the future, we see many exciting developments that will add additional value for our customers. When Jim Wilson purchased the company from his father, C.H. Wilson in 1981, he was the first Wilson at the helm to face deregulation of the trucking industry. Part of his solution to weather this change, was the creation of an activity based payment schedule.
We pride ourselves on being specialists in over-the-road food transport to virtually anywhere in the province. The family legacy that started with John Wilson in 1937 continues to live on. And while much has changed over the years, Wilson's has always maintained its commitment to food distribution throughout our home province of Ontario.

I have never been there in my life. Every time I go to Hunt containers, you suggest that I've been to Wilson. When I say I haven't been to Wilson you asked if I've been to ultra Depot there a mile away. How is it that you are suggesting that I went to a place a mile away?
There are lots of other businesses within that mile that you could suggest I've been to, but for some strange reason you are selecting this particular business.

Had an incident with one of their truck drivers yesterday on Hwy 401. Sent an email to advise of the driver's behavior. The response was swift and I appreciate Chuck calling me back and taking a moment out of his busy day to advise that the matter is being looked into.

This is worst ever place I've ever seen, Dispatch and Safety department don't cooperate with each other.
Dispatchers are unable to take decisions of driver's forwarded problems and no knowledge about how truck and tractors run and works, they just love sitting on chair and believe that whatever has happened in the past will only repeat in future. If any thing new has happened driver is responsible for that. They are completely stuck at certain level with negative thinking.
Safety department's head Chuck Walker says all the time " I don't trust drivers and I don't trust dispatchers". These are
