One of Sackville's oldest family-owned businesses, for six generations, Campbell's Funeral Home has been privileged to guide families through difficult times. People often comment on the comfortable atmosphere of our Home. That's not only because of the personal service we provide, but also the historic character of the building, its well-appointed public and private spaces, and the generous welcome that is always provided here.

The Campbell family and our staff would like to send a huge thank you to local business, Glowing Embers, Jonathan and Kevin Read, and their staff, for installing our new air conditioning system in the funeral home. They were knowledgeable and gave amazing service. They patiently answered all of our questions, satisfied our every need, and completed the work quickly and efficiently.

The company was well known for building and repairing carriages, and later expanded into making coffins, and eventually, directing funerals. Erin represents the sixth generation of Campbells to serve families in Sackville and the surrounding area and is the first female Funeral Director in the family.
Family and friends getting together to honour a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious service or you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'. A number of decisions need to be made either in pre-planning your own or a family members service or at the time of someone's death.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was expected, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
Traditionally, a burial service involves a visitation, followed by a funeral service in a church, funeral home, other place of worship or other facility. The casket or urn is typically present at both of these events. You have the option of having the casket or urn interred (earth burial) or it may be entombed in a crypt inside a mausoleum (above ground burial).

Erin Campbell is the best funeral director ever. She was compassionate and caring about the untimely death of my baby boy. This young woman is full of love and everything else that matters in the wrong time for a loved one to pass away.
