Perfect Place to City Camp We have stayed here twice. Last year with our daughter and her three active children, and last week just two grandparents. Very well run and clean. Despite being located in the town of Okotoks, it is very quiet. Shopping within easy walking distance. It has a river next to it that was lots of fun last year in August for the kids.

This year too dangerous. Bike paths are perfect and easy to access. We did day trips to mountains and Calgary. Great location 35 minutes from Calgary centre. Next to a municipal park with a playground and picnic area. The Sheeps River is shallow there, so safe for supervised children and pets. Walking/biking paths 2 minute away and are numerous and of varying lengths running along side the river.

Would be nice if anyone going to the skating rink had any sort of caution for covid, otherwise though, great area

Fun park, this winter the campground has been transformed into an ice skating loop!! It is very smooth and maintained and was not busy , the park beside is fun too. There is also year round bathrooms here!

This campground is in the center of the city, across from the Police station. There are many outdoor activities, playgrounds for kids, walking distance for town shopping, and a river
(Sheep River)next to the campgrounds, you can bring a chair, dip your feet in water and watch children and dogs playing. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Nice quiet campground- sites are very well maintained and groomed. Only drawbacks- close to main road and no washroom or shower facilities- apparently being renovated- but we were warned ahead of time. Staff are very friendly and welcoming- they sanitize all picnic tables regularly

Nice place. Nice people ( volunteers ) run the camp ground. Worth the price. We will visit again for sure.

Did not have a good experience, we asked for 3 spots together over a month before arriving and ended up separated. The spot we had was a river of water and I think the staff watch on cameras for you to break one of the many rules so they can come over and yell at you. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that has camped in any other campground. I think they should chill out a bit.

Although location is great near a lot of paths, that was the best part. Showers and toilets were “out of order” but staff were allowed to freely use it. All is all very badly managed

For us this the first choice in Calgary area.
No laundry, but there is a laundromat not too far away. River walk to downtown Okotoks. Quiet, well maintained with great hosts.
