Tom inspected my home before purchase. He was very organized, detailed and took the time to explain things very clearly. This guy is simply incredible. Performed a perfect home inspection when I bought my house 4 years ago. Now he helped me out instantly with a little issue that came up at that house recently. Tom is accomplished, knowledgeable, approachable, helpful and highly reliable. If you are looking for a decent building inspector on the Coast for whom his profession is not merely a "job" - don´t look any further, you won´t find a better one.

As the market amps up, and listings are selling quickly, we were so happy we did not become pressured to skip a home inspection.
Tom preformed a very thorough review of the subject property and was able to identify a few areas of concern that we had missed during our initial walkthrough (and some we wouldn't have known to look for!). The thoroughness of Tom Pape's inspection impressed me. I loved the pictures he included with his inspection report showing exactly what he noticed. It gives us an assurance about the home we are planning to buy. On such a big investment a home inspection is money well spent. For a recent home purchase, we arranged for a home-buyer’s inspection with Tom Pape and we were very pleased with his professionalism and communication throughout.
Tom was very prompt in returning phone calls and emails and was very accommodating in scheduling the inspection. He attended on site and explained the scope of the inspection, the areas he would be looking at and advised that his written report would identify any deficiencies and/or areas of concern. Tom is very experienced. He is professional and thorough, pleasant and easy to talk to. He spent almost 4 hours at my new property including taking me around and explaining his findings in detail as well as answering any questions. His report was was very comprehensive and is was available later to answer subsequent questions and give advice. Great value at a reasonable price. Highly recommend him.
