Since 1986, Smith Steel has grown in our 29 years from two employees to 14 full-time staff members. Founded by Ed and Carol Smith, we have grown and changed with our customers' needs and now supply trailer parts, welding supplies, industrial gases, bulk chains, cables, nuts, and bolts, in addition to steel.
Smith Steel in Yorkton provides our customers a number of products and services to supply your business or personal project with the items you need to complete them quickly. We carry hot rolled and cold finished bars in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Our new steel can be used for a variety of industry applications, including warehouses, welding, manufacturing, transportation, construction, and more.
Smith Steel will buy and recycle your old scrap metal in an environmentally safe manner at our Yorkton location. Don't throw that scrap metal away-make a profit from it. Selling and recycling your old metals is a safe and easy way to help take care of the environment, as well as yourself. Our staff buys non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metals, and we also offer a scrap metal container service.
