Went on December 5 2021. Fun and big club. Has the potential for a good night if you prepare.
However, ladies need to watch out. If you see a man alone with a purse, not into the music, there is a high chance they are a thief. I saw (and warned) a girl making out with someone that a man was unzipping her bag. In particular one guy with a backwards Yankees hat and a purse. I saw him unzipping several bags.
If you are not paying attention to your surroundings and carrying a bag, there is a moderate/high chance you will get your phone or wallet taken.
Also believe nothing Rebel says online. Drinks

Unfortunate experience.
Aesthetically pleasing venue. Visuals can be comparable to something in Vegas. Very long line up and overpriced drinks. We spent a lot of money to have a good time here.
However our night was ruined by one individual. He came to our both and was inappropriate with the girls in our group. When we asked him to leave he called over security. Security said there was nothing they could do as he was “somebody there”. The guy became aggressive asking to go outside? The sort of behaviour I wouldn’t expect from a grown man. Let alone some sort of owner.

Best place to party . Very big hall Place is good for large gatherings. the sound system snd lights are of excellent quality the DJ and sound system are superb. The view from top is attractive. Great place and good outside view . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The security arrangements outside ensure that everyone are checked properly and then only entry is given . The river front location adds additional beauty to this location.

I try to avoid this place at all costs. I’ve visited it about 4 times to go to concerts and it’s always an annoying experience. The line up is so long to get in that people working at the club go around offering line bypasses for 20-50 dollars. Just a way to line their pockets. Interacting with security isn’t bad. Getting in and out is always a nightmare. The plus side is that it’s a newer venue with great equipment.

Pretty cool place for events and weekend nights! Came here for a friend’s wedding, which is a bit costly, but worth the memories! Right by the lake where you can get the best views of the city skyline!!! Definitely come visit Polson Pier if you’re visiting the city and get a snapshot of the beautiful city of Toronto from this secret spot!

Came here for a work party on a Fri night; apps + drinks, with external catered food stations. Great venue, lots of space, and the layout is great for allowing enough view of the stage from both floors. Sound quality was fantastic, no complaints there whatsoever. Decor was also very lush and though the venue was packed there was still no shortage of seats / tables / standing space. Super appreciative that they kept the place cool with that many people in there as it helped me keep a clear head lol.
Drinks were solid; I had a couple whiskey sours that were great and very consistent. Service was

Way to go. This is a fun place. You definitely want to get on the guest list every weekend unless is a concert, for those you need to get tickets way ahead of time, the most popular the show gets sold out fast, I saw people take transit to get there, not sure if parking is a problem or too expensive. Either way, the inside is great, no obstructions wherever you standing you got a great view.
So many beautiful people, drink prices weren't bad actually quite competitive.
Thanks to the promoter for having on the list, for almost every weekend in 2019. We keep coming for more fun, nothing can’t

My first impression was not the greatest. They don't open their parking lot until an hour before doors. I wasn't there for early entry, but I'd be even more angry if I was. It should really be an hour before early entry. Street parking is not allowed after 6:00 PM so those people were risking parking tickets. I managed to find a normal parking spot at a business a short walk away without any indicated restrictions.
When I did get in, I was one of the first with mezzanine tickets so I not only had my pick of where to stand, I had time to get an overpriced drink and rest my feet in

My friends and I used to go to Rebel so often, even before Rebel, Sound Academy. Recently though, there has not been one event to entice all of us to come out of retirement to party the night away.
Parking outside of Rebel is $20 (be careful during the winter, it is a skating rink in the parking lot and if it is windy, GOOD GAME).
The usual nightclub routine with the checking of IDs, being searched for banned items and going through to get our tickets scanned. We usually go in a very large group so this sometime takes a while.
They usually have free popcorn at every event so keep an eye out

I came here for a 6lack concert and it was very nice. I love the atmosphere, there is a very nice view of the Toronto skyline. I hung out near the bar, I preferred it to the crowd. They have nice seating areas and a couple standing tables placed throughout the crowd area. They also have bars up front, so drinks are easy to access. They give out different color bands for underage, of age and vip. I would definitely visit again.

Big venue, but that doesn't matter if the place is overcrowded, which it usually is but I've been to worse. Drink prices are a little high plus certain members of the security team clearly have some insecurities as they seem to enjoy abusing their power but overall the employees are professional. The light shows are cool and the music is decent.
I've heard so many people say this is the best club around but I've been to better. To be fair though, I've also been to plenty of worse ones too.

Rebel nightclub is located in the Port Lands area of Toronto which is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Toronto. It's also probably the last big box nightclub in Toronto, most nightclubs are going towards the lounge/club feel which means a smaller venue because of how expensive rent is in Toronto. Rebel nightclub is probably the only venue in Toronto that resembles a Las Vegas nightclub. Really spacious, nice decor and outstanding sound and lighting system. It also has Cabana Pool Bar for day parties in the summertime.

I cringe every time I see that a band I love is playing here.
The good: The sound is pretty good.
The not so good:
- If you're a lover of rock bands AND short, you're not going to see the stage unless you're in the upstairs area.
- Drinks are club prices, so way more expensive than any other music venue.
- Getting there is a logistical nightmare. You're either taking a mystery bus that doesn't come very often, parking in their horrible lot and idling in a 30 minute lineup to leave, or taking an expensive cab ride.
Unless it's a band that you're dying to

Came her for a deadmau5 concert. Immediately when I walked in, I thought this was such a well designed place! Washrooms everywhere, multiple bars, and they pumped the place with A/C (Too many places are like God damn sweat lodges). The stage was a good size and the sound system was exactly what was expected. One downside: during the show they didnt have the orbital lights in motion.
There is parking near the venue but it's $20....yikes.
Also, I've heard of crime in this location but I felt pretty safe regardless. I'm not the clubbing type, but I would come back if someone like

We were there last night for Halloween. After staying inside for around 10 minutes, we came out for some fresh air. But then after the Security guy prevented us to going back inside. We showed him our tickets but the rude guy said he doesn't care. We weren't said that we can't go outside. He named himself Mike.
I have his picture. He shouted at me and my wife and pushed us badly. We spent more than $40 each and couldn't be there more than just 10 minutes. For sure that is lack of management. They didn't use any bracelets or hand stamps and didn't let people having

2 murders and an overdose later, not sure how this place is still in business.
I used to frequent here for concerts but since the 2 murders, one being a friend of mine, I have not returned and do not plan to in the future. Its a decent venue for concerts but there are much better/safer clubs in Toronto.

Expensive drinks, ridiculously long line to get in to the club, and another ridiculously long line for the restroom.
Out of all clubs I feel like my group gets lost in this one the most.
A fight broke out in the purple room, I was right beside it (: got front row seats watching these mans fist fight'n.
Venue is nice. Free cotton candy and popcorn.

A great venue in Toronto that is changing the night life experience.
Being renovated from Sound Academy to now REBEL, the venue is nonetheless the most spacious venue down in Toronto which is great for a lot of different events (Concerts, Corporate, Raves). Lights and sound is amazing no matter where you are standing. The upstairs also has an amazing view and is perfect for people who like to have their personal space.
Being attached to Cabana Pool Bar, REBEL also has a big patio with an outdoor bar that usually isn't as busy as the bars inside. The staff are incredible and welcoming, they

3 different sounds: the main stage/dance area was top 40 mostly, upstairs room was house, and the ground floor room was rap/hiphop. The main stage and hip hop room was always packed, while the house room was pretty empty.
There was popcorn, a mixed crowd, and super creative/extravagant displays for themed nights.
Although it's out in the middle of nowhere and a nightmare to uber/taxi out of, it's definitely worth it and I'll be coming back for more!
