The Alberta Painting Contractors Association (APCA) represents the major players in the Alberta painting industry with a focus on commercial and industrial projects. APCA supports a skilled workforce providing quality service. APCA awards annual scholarships to assist apprentices seeking their journeyman trade designation in painting and decorating.

The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association of BC (ICBA), in partnership with British Columbia's leading painting contractors, has created a unique training program, helping you or your people to achieve their Painter and Decorator Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement.

Regular Members Full members are corporations or other legal entities engaged in the pursuit of painting and decorating. Associate Members Associate members are corporations or other legal entities engaged in the pursuit of activities related to the painting and decorating industry. Network with others in the industry - exchange your business concerns and solutions, share your manpower, equipment and ideas.

The Inspection and Guarantee program offered by APCA to Specification Authorities and Building Owners provides a two-year guarantee of the workmanship and materials employed by the Painting Contractor who follows the qualifications and standards set out in the MPI Architectural Painting Specification Manual.

The Alberta Painting Contractors Association (APCA) is the accredited quality assurance association in Alberta for the Master Painters Institute (MPI) Quality Assurance Program. The Lunch and Learn Session is presented by a qualified Paint Inspector and/or a Paint Manufacturer/Supplier Representative.
