Pros : - Beautiful view of the lake and nature all around.
- Friendly owners.
Cons: -The wifi signal keeps dropping and reconnecting
unfortunately (comes with being way up north).
-The bathroom wasn't clean (bins overflowing, dirty shower,
dead spiders that you could see have been there a while, a
strange lingering smell).
- Only one big dumpster to throw away garbage, which unfortunately was smelling really bad (due to size and amount of garbage in there).
- No dedicated site to wash dishes when you're camping in a tent overlooking the lake (think there was one down at the lakeside but

My friend and I camped here on a motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. We were treated like locals and everyone was very helpful and super nice. It's a great campground with great owners that are always looking to improve the property to make even a belter place to camp.
I can't express enough how great it was to stay here. I would be back every year but it's over a over 1000 miles from my house. I need to plan anther trip that includes Wild Goose Lake Campground. - Cheers!

Not bad campground...stayed last season in lot #10 and had to bring our new trailer to get repaired under warranty in the fall. We asked for lot #4 by the lake that was more expensive but they told us they would give us lot#23 instead up the hill this year at the same price as #10..."i should have asked for this on paper"...my mistake .now they want us to pay the same price as the lots by the lake... we will not be back to this campground... People beware... put everything on paper. Thought we could trust the owners... nope.

It's not bad, the hill coming in wasn't bad to navigate, we didn't use the laundry or bathrooms. The trees are tall and it was quiet while we were there. The internet was fine for email, a little slow but OK. No phone service here but they had a pay phone by the washrooms.

Easy to find, nice water access but there were so many blackfies! Definitely bring the bug spray. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Free shower. No potable water at our site though.
Correction: water was potable, signs were just a precaution 👍

We were there a week ago. Everyone was very laid back and one of the few campgrounds that allows you to bring your dog to the water front. This is very important for us as our dog is a water lover. Favourite… time first thing in the morning with a coffee at the waters edge watching and listening to the loons. No rowdy late night noise. Heaven.

My dad and I stayed here for 5 nights. Booking was simple and I was assured of a spot by the lake. We drove 2 days straight, 2400 km from New Brunswick, and arrived after 11pm. We pulled into an empty spot and slept until morning. At the office, there was a notice of which campsite was ours. Right by the lake as promised. We set up early morning and spent a great 5 nights at the lake. Great people who made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you Paul and Brigit!
