If you are reading this, you likely already know about Kitec. It is a flexible piping system that was used to plumb homes between 1995 and 2007. The fittings were later found to be faulty having the potential to leak and/or burst. As a result, a class action lawsuit was launched and the manufacturer settled out of court for $125 million.
When painting the exterior of a home the key to success is getting rid of as much of the old paint as possible. There is history there and it will continue to haunt you as long as the old paint remains. Sure, scraping works but, the gold standard is paint shaving. Top of The Ladder has pioneered the use of paint shaving in the Halifax and has been using this technique for six years.

Richard and his team were professional and extremely knowledgeable. We had 40 holes in our ceiling after getting the kitec piping in our house removed and after the Top of the Ladder team left you would never know the difference. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for drywall patching and/or professional painting.
