Have your septic system inspected and pumped after two years to determine pumping intervals. Keep records of repairs, pumpings, inspections, permits issued and other system maintenance activities. Divert roof drains, surface water, sump pumps and house-footing drains away from the septic system. Don't drive over the absorption field with cars, trucks or heavy equipment as they could crush the pipes.
Don't use your toilet as a trash can by dumping non-degradables, chemicals or solvents down your toilet or drains. Cat litter, Disposable diapers, Sanitary napkins, Tampons, Condoms, Paper towels, Facial tissue, Hair, Dental floss, Cotton swabs, Coffee grounds, Cigarette butts, Pesticides, Paint thinners, Waste oils, Varnishes, Photographic chemicals and other Chemical wastes.

For pumping out a septic they were very good and prompt. Not so much for inspections. Asked for an inspection and pump out when I bought a property in 2017 but they informed me upon arrival they could not do a proper inspection. Two years later, 2019, I asked them for just a pump out due to selling the property and they informed me of two things wrong with the system that I needed to fix! I don't want to sound negative so I would definitely use them again for a pump out, but I would be cautious of asking for an inspection.
