I am going to try to make this long story short with keeping it accurate. I went to see Matt in January of 2020 with all our paperwork and he told us that $------ would be very doable. In March we go see him again too see if anything had changed due to covid. nothing. Then in April we wanted to apply for a mortgage plus improvements. Matt Suggested applying for the mortgage first, then improvements after. Matt was great with that part. He would call just too let me know that he had not heard anything back yet. Eventually we got the mortgage approval, but he said it was super tight, even though

Having Castle manage the burden of shopping and doing the leg work for us was excellent. Matt provided some sage advice and options and work with us through a number of challenges. Jen was always pleasant, conscientious and helpful. With our crazy schedules they managed our meeting requirements on weekends and evenings. My first experience with Castle was more than 12 years ago. My eldest son and daughter in-law needed a mortgage in Ontario and needed advice. My fiancé and I wanted some professional counsel on how to go about applying for our mortgage. As a Real Estate agent, I have sent many clients to Castle Mortgage for financing approval. Each client, upon meeting with the brokers there, have stated how easily the mortgage process was explained to them and that they 'get it'. Each being content and happy with the decisions that they made in the office relating to everything from the down… payment, closing costs, terms and amortization. If you don’t work in the industry getting a mortgage for the first time can be confusing and stressful. The whole experience was quite the roller coaster ride.
