And we offer a relaxed, unpretentious golf experience on one of Canada's top-rated courses that can be enjoyed by your entire family. That's our nature.

Our intention was to create a world-class club in a beautiful setting that offered a pure golf experience without pretense - family-oriented, member-owned and focused solely on golf. And we succeeded. My ultimate goal for Mad River is to provide fun golf for a large variety of talents in a beautifully unique and exclusive setting.

Membership Report

Mad River is the only true equity golf club in the Southern Georgian Bay area. The Club is 100 percent owned by the equity members, there is no debenture and no mortgage on our assets. Decisions are made by the equity members for the benefit of the members, their associates and the Club as a whole.

One of my favourite places to play.
Hidden in the country side this course is one of the most well kept and scenic courses I’ve been on.
The terrain, course conditions and views were all exceptional. Plays tough but fair for any style golfer. I love greens that roll true and here did just that. The grounds crew does a terrific job!
If you have the chance to play here it is a must!

If there was one golf club to play all summer, this would be the one. It is an interesting course which offers variety every time you play due to rolling course and superb greens. The views are spectacular.
The staff are great and golf club well maintained.

Incredible course!!! Breath taking views. Sculpted sand traps. This is one of my favorites. This course was so nice that I don't know which hole was the signature hole!! I think it was the 7th hole (or 14th) but it could have been the 9th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th or 18th. I usually count how many holes were beautiful or unique when I play a round and this course had 14 holes that were in this category. Clubhouse was quaint. See attached pictures.

Played in a Charity Tournament last Wednesday at Mad River.The course was in fantastic condition and the staff treated everybody just like they were members for a day.Thank you Mad River.
