When a loss occurs, a thorough investigation is imperative for many reasons, including coverage assessment, indemnity control and subrogation potential. Our adjusters have the experience to determine what level of investigation is required for each loss to ensure innovative, cost-effective claims handling, with a focus on fair and prompt resolution.

Allan joined Coast Claims in 1994, becoming a partner in 1998, a Managing Partner in 2007, and President in 2020. He specializes marine claims (Hull and Casualty) for commercial vessels, pleasure craft and wharves including damage surveys and detailed investigations, complex liability losses, as well as heavy equipment, construction and larger property claims.

John started his career in the insurance industry in 2007 as in Independent Adjuster for a national firm and moved to Coast Claims in 2018. He handles all types of losses including residential and commercial property, casualty, heavy equipment, marine, and cargo; he also carries out scene investigations, collateral investigations, witness investigations and trial preparation.

Peter has been employed with Coast Claims Service since 1984 and is the managing partner in our Campbell River Office. Peter handles all types of losses, specializing in residential and commercial property and casualty losses, and marine claims. He has completed courses on restorative drying, mould hazards and control, and fire investigations.

Kirk began his insurance career in 2006 working in business development for New Home Warranty. An interest in claims brought him to Vancouver Island where he grew experience in residential and commercial property claims. A move to a national firm in 2011 honed his growth gaining valuable knowledge in catastrophes such as, 2013 Calgary/ High River flood and 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire.
