Wire sawing is the safest, quickest, and most efficient method of modifying or dismantling mass reinforced concrete structures. Wire sawing is an innovative method of cutting mass concrete structures and has opened up endless opportunities for the construction industry. Originating from an ancient technology used in-stone quarries, modern wire sawing of reinforced concrete came to the forefront in the early 1980's.
Di-Techs flat saw versatility and wide range of saws include: electric for indoor cutting as well as gas and diesel for outdoor cutting. The flat saw is the diamond-cutting tool most recognizable and familiar to all motorists and to those in the concrete industry. It is commonly used to cut roadways during the restoration process of road surfaces, or the cutting of expansion joints on new construction.
Di-Tech wall saws enable our operators to cut concrete vertically, horizontally or at any angle required. The wall saw is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the selective demolition arsenal. It enables our operators to cut concrete vertically, horizontally or at any angle required by our clients.
The core drill is an essential diamond tool used in the professional concrete cutting industry. Di-Tech's specialty method of core drilling has no need for water, so it doesn't create dust or slurry. Traditional methods of upside-down core drilling creates a mess covering the work area with water and slurry.
Utilised on bridge decks, highways and other surface areas that may require improved drainage and or better surface traction for safety reasons. The objective of grooving is to provide better drainage on the deck surface. Grooves are saw cut into the bridge deck surface transversely, or perpendicular to the direction of the traffic, after the concrete has cured.
