Services
As an AZ Driver you will be responsible for picking up various types of drum waste from Depots and Industrial customers. You will be required to load, secure and transport waste throughout Ontario. Operate motorized vehicles to move material between sites up to and including AZ licensed equipment. Must be familiar and demonstrate an ability to pick up and transport industrial and household hazardous waste.
Situated just minutes from the 401, TTDS-Cambridge is the newest location for Toronto Truck Driving School, offering DZ & Airbrake training to new commercial drivers in a safe and comfortable, and supportive environment. Toronto Truck Driving School is a member of the Truck Training School's Association of Ontario (TTSAO) and holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
A motor vehicle exceeding 11,000 kilograms gross weight or registered gross weight or any truck or combination provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms. Can drive in class G. Training for Backhoe, Excavator, and Front End Loader covering core operating and trade skills. Forklift licensing available for Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker, Walkie, Scissor Lift, Clamp Truck and more.
For any licenses other than Forklift and Heavy Equipment you must hold a full G Ontario license. To obtain your temporary driver's licence you must complete a written test to obtain your Learner's Permit for the license of your choice. The Ministry will charge $23.25 dollars for the written test and $96.75 for your first road test.
The class A driver's licence allows you to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb); and vehicles included in classes D and G. A class A-licence does not permit you to drive a bus carrying passengers, a motorcycle or a moped.

I learned to drive 4 different heavy machines at TTDS. KYLE, the instructor, was very professional and very knowledgable on all subjects. Kyle was patient and diligent when operating the machines for the first time, and determined to make each student fully operational upon the completion of the course. Still to this day we keep in contact and hes always willing to discuss projects. I will have the knowledge i aquired for Kyle for a lifetime and it is always providing me with opportunities. GREAT INSTRUCTOR and a GREAT PERSON!!

The Heavy Equipment Trainer Kyle was exceptionally personable, knowledgeable, and attentive to all my seemingly crazy questions while continuing to give me the best training on equipment I've had in years. Sometimes as a new student it can be very overwhelming and intimidating, but Kyle made me feel right at home within minutes of meeting him face to face. I will return to Toronto Truck Driving School in the near future for further equipment training from Kyle and I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for this type of training, as he by far creates the best atmosphere and relaxed environment

I was very satisfied with this school. I received one on one training from 4 different instructors and I learned something from each one of them. It took just over 2 months from my start date May 18 until my road test on July 28. It is a school worth attending if you are serious about getting your AZ license.

Passed my AZ test in first attempt. Unlike certain schools, Instructors at TTDS know each and every corner of MELT program. They have good trucks and a large yard to train you. If you are 1 min late for your class, reception will call you. Scheduling will allocate you with different instructors to help you learn with different methods but changes can be made as they are flexible. I took majority of my lessons from Pardeep Manhas and boy i had fun. Others were also great. I advice you to use all hours and make most use of them. I did not find any discrepancies in actual test and schools training

I strongly recommend TTDS for all types of commercial licences. I cleared my AZ road test on 1st attempt. Special thanks to their qualified instructors Mr. Gill, Mr. Bhatti, Mr. Benipal and Mr. Pardeep. They are extremely patient with the students and ensure their students concepts are cleared before proceeding to the next level. Also, I would like to thank Pawan and Neha for accommodating me according to my work schedule.
