Established back in 1955 the Oak Bay Park has been an intrigal part of our society for some time. We have all grown up using the beach or just camping in the park. It is nestled around the Bay Of Fundy where the tides come and go twice a day. If you like the smell of salt water or just like to walk on the ocean floor then we have the spot for you.
Our sun sets are second to none and they can be seen from most of the park area. We have 33.5 acres of beautifull property with great walking, lovely trees and the most pleasant scenery you will ever see today, including our Pine tree that is over 500 years old. If only these wood's could talk. Kathy and Joe have some magnificant weekend plans created for the entire summer months.

Not bad, but not great.
The staff are helpful and accommodating, site switching upon arrival was easy enough. Washrooms are subpar, leaving one debating skipping a shower at times. (keep in mind we are not looking for the ritz in washrooms)
Water is something you'll search for, and once found its not listed as drinking water.
The trailer section is neat and tidy, and I truly believe that if another fall and spring are spent on working over the tent sites they'll truly have a decent area for just that.
I enjoyed the time there, but if going back I'd probably bring my own hanging shower.

Decent campground but nothing more than a stop for the night. Woman at office kiosk gave me a bunch of attitude when I arrived earlier than their advertised time. WHATEVER you do do not use the guy that cleans RVs there. He agreed to do my RV and car for $100 canadian. I was not there when he did it but he did a terrible job. I came back in a bit of a rush ans should have looked but did not. It was the b=next morning when I realized the roof had not even been touched and was real dirty. It rained and all the dirt came streaming down the sides. Total waste of $100 plus $20 tip. Nothing against the

We tent camped here for one night at the start of the season. It's an older campground with the typical mix of seasonal RV spots, temporary use and a few tenting spots.
We were the only people tenting that day and because of that had the tent area to ourselves, with a beautiful view of the bay.
The facilities were old, but worked.
It was quiet, except for the lapping of the waves.
We enjoyed our stay.

A basic campground with very friendly staff. Sites are large (pull through ones are) and nice and level. The swimming area is not recommended for swimming. You can swim on the « tidal » side, at High tide. A nice addition this year to have a canteen on weekend evenings. Kathy and Joe are very helpful and great hosts. It’s good to park the camper at for visiting the area.

Nice campground with a beach and nice view of Oak Bay. Lots of seasonal campers and serviced and unserviced lots for drop ins. This campground likely has the best beachfront tenting sites anywhere on the Bay of Fundy. Washrooms need a reno but are clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. Friendly staff deliver firewood to your site for $4 an armload. Pet friendly.

We had a lovely choice of sites right upon the waters edge, and Caroline and I had a lovely supper as we watched the effects of the setting sun, and the high tide as it made the wee peninsular playground smaller and smaller.
The fire pits are built up on a concrete slab, and the wood we purchased was surprisingly more hardwood birch than softwood, so this was rare indeed and we enjoyed a lovely fire, with wood leftover for the neighbours as we packed our tents away the following morning.
The site was largely pine needles and some gravel, so we ended up pitching the tents on a wooden deck which

I have not yet encountered such a thing as a five star campground. However, this one is pretty good. Situated on Oak Bay on the Fundy shore, it offers a truly beautiful vista of the water. Beaches within a few minutes walk. A great choice of sites and a very friendly couple in charge. Rates are reasonable and they offer a Seniors' discount. We have stayed here before and we will again.
