Our dojo is directly affiliated with the Koubu Kai hombu dojo located in Chiba, Japan under the instruction of Hanshi Yutaka Hayashi, 8th Dan. A comprehensive, self-defence oriented style developed from Japanese roots in Britain by Professor Richard Morris and Robert Clark.

Services
Jiu Jitsu (or JuJutsu) can be translated as the 'art of softness'. We teach techniques which can neutralize attacks by using an opponent's strength and aggression against them by using leverage and manipulating balance. Many of the principles of Karate are employed and combined with take-downs, throws and joint locks to create an effective, comprehensive style of self-defence.
The Satori Label has been operating since 1996 and is located in Ontario, Canada. All uniforms are manufactured on site under the vigilant supervision of a production team, which includes a Martial Artist, a Fashion Designer, and a Master Tailor.
