Orthodontic emergencies are rare but if you experience discomfort call our office to schedule an appointment. Children are typically ready for braces as they are approaching their pubertal growth spurt which for girls can be from ages 11 - 13 and for boys from 13 - 15. Each child is different and it is recommended that a child visit an orthodontist by the age 8 to assess if future treatment is needed.
At your complimentary initial consultation visit, Dr. Dagasso and our Treatment Coordinator will conduct a thorough examination. When indicated, we will take impressions of the teeth, necessary x-rays, and photographs as part of your examination. We will review the clinical diagnosis and discuss all of your treatment options as well necessary appointments, insurance, and financial arrangements.

I’ve dealt with this place sparingly however when I did it was laughable. Charging $400 upfront fees just for a consultation. Rude receptionist said I missed two appointments which I didn’t. Waiting on a call from them actually. Worth a call just to hear the receptionist go all Karen on you, cheap entertainment.

Dr Dagasso and his team are very friendly and super accommodating. He is not my original orthodontist but I needed a new retainer urgently. Him and his team were very accommodating and got me an appointment in a very timely manner. They made me feel I as though I had been a patient of his for years. I am very thankful for how considerate and caring him and his team are!

Dr Dagasso and his team are amazing! He was very thorough and answered all my questions with knowledge and patience. I think they have done a great job fixing the mechanical and other issues I had going on with my teeth. His receptionist Lydia and all the different CDAs were very helpful, friendly and competent. I highly recommend Dr Dagasso and his team for anyone requiring Orthodental services.

Dr. Dagasso is fantastic. My oldest daughter was a patient of his and came out of treatment with an amazing smile! My second daughter is currently in treatment and my youngest will be getting her orthodontic treatment from Dr. Dagasso as well. I just got my braces off today and am incredibly happy with the result. I have TMJ and he was extremely careful not to upset my jaw further. The assistants are all wonderful and extremely professional and welcoming, and Lidia at the front desk is always professional, courteous and absolutely lovely to deal with. Dr. Dagasso is the best!!

Excellent office staff all around! I've never been disappointed with the service provided; they go above and beyond what's required, and our 2 kids have had a very positive experience here. They explain each step very thoroughly, and no question is left unanswered. When it comes to payments and billing, the office staff is very organized, friendly… and efficient. We're very happy to be a part of this office, and are thrilled that they now have an office in Merritt, so we don't have to make the trip to Kamloops all the time. That's a big deal, thank you! Two kids down, one more to go!

I have only good things to say about Dr. Dan Dagasso Orthodontist. I've recently moved to Canada, shortly after having my braces taken off, and encountered an orthodontic problem: my upper permanent retainer came unglue. Being so far away from my home country I was trying to find an orthodontist to have it reglued in Kamloops. Dr. Dan Dagasso Orthodontist responded to my email very quickly (as the first dental practice from Kamloops) and offered me an appointment on reasonably short notice.
