Since 1977 "Peck's" has been in institution of Louisbourg, NS. Originally founded by George Peck, the business was most well known for it's incredible little grocery and convenience store - once located in the heart of Louisbourg. Over the years, the business evolved to include both Peck's Cottages and Riverdale RV Park.
French soldiers march down the streets of the town as ladies dance in formal parlours. Peck's cottages were perfect for our family of four. Cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed to make basic meals. Sea breeze kept the cottage cool enough to sleep. Lots to do in and around Louisbourg, especially if you're outdoorsy. Owner was very kind and gracious. Wifi and cable in cottage made for an easy way to entertain the kids between activities. Campground associated with Peck's has swings the kids can use.
We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!
