It is my job as a Parent, Doctor, Employer, and Teacher to strive to be the best version of myself in physical, mental, and emotional health. It is through this knowing that I can better serve the world through each patient I inspire. Dr Sonya Jensen is a Mom of 2 boys, a business owner, a yoga teacher, a workshop leader and a Women's Health Expert.
Being healthy isn't just living without symptoms of sickness, it's about feeling and living with abundance and vitality in all areas of life. It's at the core of our principles to look for the root cause of disease, and then assist the patient to bring awareness and healing into all facets. When the body is in a more balanced state, we then help our patients focus on preventative medicine.
The core purpose of Naturopathic Medicine is to get to the root cause of illness. We use Evidence Based Therapeutics, Clinical Experience, Lifestyle Medicine and more as tools to address the underlying cause of disease. It's not enough in this day and age that we live in to depend solely on a single medicine/pill to cure all ills.
For any therapy to be effective there must be a union with all levels of healing; physical, mental/emotional and spiritual. Acupuncture is an incredible tool for re-balancing the disrupted meridian systems which if left untreated can manifest as disease on the physical level. Acupuncture follows a similar philosophy to Chiropractic care in that if you have a subluxed vertebrae you can impinge a nerve leading to pain as a potential symptom.
Lab testing is a vital tool to determine both a diagnosis but also a progress on any given therapy. Depending on the condition, there are great tools at our fingertips for both assessing someone early on in their health process and for maintenance and adjustment as time goes on. Many tests that are offered through our Naturopathic Clinic are not offered through the conventional model of healthcare.

I have gone to seen Dr, Nick Jensen and has team to help to give me a better understanding of what was going on with my own health and body. Divine elements was very knowledgeable, set me up with a daily regimen, and helped me fine tune my health. I also love their IV's! I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Drs. Nick and Sonya really care and it comes across! They have created a wonderful Naturopathic clinic, with the latest modalities and treatments available, some of them very hard to find elsewhere. Dr. Nick truly practices what he preaches, and has tried all the modalities, treatments and supplements available in the clinic. That speaks volume to me, as far as his passion and motivation for helping others.

Sonya and Nick are the real deal. They are keenly informed and up on the most cutting edge therapies. A sense of great well-being is clear when you enter the building, everyone is happy to help and, unlike many similar clinics, there is compassion and understanding everywhere. I wish I lived in Vancouver to take full advantage of their great gifts. If you are local, I think you can confidently know that you are in the best hands in Vancouver.

I will be the first to state I am in the camp of skeptics when it comes to alternative medicine and naturopathic medicine. I'm a true believer in double blind trials and modern advancements in western medicine.

Dr. Nick literally saved my life. I had seen over 13 doctors, specialists and other naturopaths who couldn't figure out where my fatigue, severe brain fog, inflammation and digestive issues were coming from.
Within 1 session he diagnosed me accurately for metal toxicity (despite a previous test with another doctor had claimed that I didnt have it). After doing another test that showed I did in fact have metal toxicity, he educated me and put me on a program that gave me my life back.

I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 17, after years of irregular periods (every 4/5 months or so), growing cysts in my ovaries etc. My family doctor naturally prescribed birth control, and all it really did was make me gain weight. I basically had lost all hope, and accepted that this would be my life at such a young age.
I’ve also struggled with depression and anxiety for years, and although I was seeing a registered psychologist, I always felt as though I kept bouncing back to that “dark” place in my life.

What can I say to the serious or needy. Naturopathic options are the only way to go if you want to avoid all the open surgery and medication that the doctors now a days prescribe without really knowing if they work. Narutopathic Doctor Nicholas is wonderful. He really treats you with compassion and honesty. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the human anatomy, he is very confident in his practice which gave me confidence in the procedures. I had some knee problems which where going to cause me to have surgery mixed with who knows what kind of medication. I really wanted to avoid this because
