Services
The Dance Movement dance programs offer young dancers training in our state-of-the art studios. It all has to start somewhere. We teach all levels of dancers from beginners to advanced. Through creative movement, children learn the fundamentals of jazz and ballet. Our Tumble Tots program teaches basic movement skills to ages 3-5.
It gives students the opportunity to learn and develop proper technical training that is needed for all types of dance. Ballet teaches dancers the value of discipline, focus and determination through fluid and beautiful movement. It increases flexibility, strength and body awareness. Jazz is one of the most popular styles of dance today.
Calling all Supers! We're looking for new recruits! Got girl power? Got boy power? EVERYONE has power! Let's celebrate what makes you unique and special. Superhero capes, masks, magic wands and jet packs are all acceptable at this fun filled week of dance and friendship. Expect lots of brightly coloured crafts and spectacular music at this popular week of dance!
Here at The Dance Movement, everyone is part of the team or as we like to call it, The Club. As members of The Club, recreational dancers will be sure to receive technical training in a fun and positive environment. The Dance Movement's Club goes above and beyond any other dance recreational program offered in the city.

TDM has attended SHOCK for several seasons now, and they definitely know how to teach children how to dance, and be humble doing it. Ashley takes an active role to ensure that her students receive quality dance instruction. She and her all-star teaching faculty challenge their students with unique choreography, that presents very well on stage. TDM has amassed many overall awards over the years, but will be the first ones to tell you that it's not about the medals and trophies, but instead, about strengthening team building and having fun!

This is our families 5th year dancing with TDM and it has proven to be the best decision for our daughter. It is a "second home" for our daughter where she is supported, encouraged, and empowered through dance, friendships and leadership. The teachers are not only amazing at their craft, but are invested in the children's well being. I suggest anyone with children interested in dance to give them a try!

We have been very fortunate to be a part of The Dance Movement family for 12 years now . The amazing teachers have turned my 3 daughters into beautiful dancers.

I hate to give anyone a bad rating. Although, I decided at the beginning of the September to take my son out of TDM due to miscommunication and the studio being very unorganized. I paid some of the funds up front, last year and they said this would be reimbursed within a month. It has been two months. In this time they have also taken two monthly payments out of my account. On top of that, I have called the studio many times and left messages, with no phone calls back. Just to add to all of this they still have not provided me with the pictures and videos, I paid for in June, of my son.
