Dangerous goods are substances that pose a health or safety risk when being transported. The United Nations has created a nine-class system to categorize dangerous goods based on their properties. If a dangerous good falls under a few different classes, the most dominant property is used to determine the item's class.
In the event of a chemical spill, Dangerous Goods Packaging is prepared to have personnel and equipment at your location within 1 to 2 hours of notification. I was lucky enough to find Katrina at Dangerous Goods Packing when I was looking for a last minute way to ship my breast milk to Florida. I needed it done in 12 hours and honestly I wasn't feeling hopeful. As soon as I called her she gave me the full low down on exactly what she can do for me and was very transparent with what to expect for pricing. I was stuck sending a Dangerous Goods package and had no idea what I was doing. Someone at Air Canada Cargo suggested I call them. They were able to assist me in person right away. They were about 20 minutes from the airport. Katrina, the person working there was unbelievable. She gave me a crash course on how to package my dangerous goods so that they are able to be shipped. She went above and beyond any kind of customer service. I am so appreciative. Thank you!!!

Any artist can tell you how stressful, time consuming and expensive it can be to ship valuable items. I'm an artist in Toronto and was comissioned a painting that needed to get to Vancouver before Xmas.
Katrina was honestly the best. She reassured me, sent me photos of it being wrapped up properly and sent me the tracking # so I was in the loop.
They are a family run business and you can tell they care about the work they do. They're also very REAL people and see you not just your wallet.
I would definitely recommend them. The level of attention and expertise is noteworthy.
