The goal of this method is to calm the mind and escape from our stressors, from the constant state of the fight or flight response and into the relaxation response. Through the efforts of each asana, a meditation in motion, is where we shift from thinking to feeling. Thinking consumes energy and feeling conserves it.

Too much thinking is causing a brain drain where our minds are literally being fried with stress. As we go through the asanas and deep breathing our guts are being decongested and metabolic wastes are being dislodged helping to cleanse our bodies and at the same time our circulation is being promoted to help nourish, rebuild, renew & repair ourselves from the inside out.

Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. Rather than focusing on yoga methods and practices, yoga therapists fundamentally focus on their clients' needs. Their job is to understand why their clients have come to see them and determine what they can do to support them.
My goal for the past 25 years has been to serve by helping those who suffer on a variety of realms. My aim is to ultimately connect people to their highest selves, whatever that might look like for them; to allow them to reach their full potential. I meet people where they are at and help them to navigate a wellness plan that works for them.
