Used this place exclusively for year's however recently they don't seem to get the work done fast like they used to and recently couldn't even flash an Android system onto a new phone that i bought from kijiji and that someone tried rooting and lost everything. I went on XDA developers.com and did it myself. My GO TO GUY IS SARJIT at CELL ROX in the Aura centre at Yonge and Gerrard. Work is done within 20 min to an hour and is always perfect.

Update after the owner response (15th June 2021, 1:37 pm):
Stay away from this place unless you wanna lose your money, nerves and good manners. I bought there a brand new Samsung A51 this January which turned off after one month of using. After that the screen remained black but I heard sounds so the phone was working . I was called the display had physically damaged and that this wasn't covered with warranty. The staff couldn't prove and showed that issue to me. Despite that I agreed with the fix for around 200 CAD and waited for next call when all will be fixed. Unfortunately, I have received

I found this place on the Internet so I called regarding a protector for my cellphone. They ordered it and I got A call the next day that it Was in. Went down on the weekend and haven't stalled by one of the reps Cheyenne who went out of his way to help me with everything beyond the Protector. Very inexpensive price and excellent service I highly recommended them. In any case folks may the Schwartz be with you with you

I have the first generation one plus phone And I have become quite attached to it. However with a disability I have a tendency of dropping my phone resulting in the screen breaking. Two months a dear friend of mine recommended Ming Wireless when I broke the screen. After giving me a quote, I left the phone with them and they replaced the screen within one hour. It was a perfect fit for my busy schedule. Unfortunately a couple of days ago I returned to Ming Wireless as the bearer of bad news. As I broke the screen a second time. After having it replaced, there seem to be a bit of an issue with the

My ZTE Axon 7 is almost 2.5 years old and the battery kinda gave up the ghost. I called up Ming Wireless and got a very reasonable quote for $60 to replace the battery, including parts and labour, with an estimate of 30 minutes required for the swap. I called up today, confirmed they were available, and walked on over. They honoured the Yelp discount as well, but be aware that it's higher than they thought it was (15% vs 10%) so they may be modifying the listed deal in the future.
The swap, true to their word, took 30 minutes. As a matter of fact, the entire transaction only took 30 minutes

Thumbs-up for Ming Wireless, this is my go-to downtown Toronto cellphone shop for anything needed repair-wise. Fair prices and will tell you what is needed first before doing anything. The boss lady can seem strict and direct but that's her no-nonsense approach - she's actually very reasonable and personable once you get to know her. Thanks again for helping me with my iphone - I was in a jam and you helped me out with the phone last week. Keep up the good work, I've been going to your store the last few years with the random cellphone repairs.

I like it here. I had broken my iPhone last year and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg getting it repaired, so I searched on google for a good place and came across Ming Wireless. The price for fixing a screen here is great- $70 for an iPhone 6, which is probably one of the cheapest I've encountered in the city. Also, the service is exceptionally fast and has never taken more than an hour (I've gotten my phone fixed three times here). I WILL say that the quality of the glass they use doesn't seem to be the best, but for $70, I wouldn't expect it to be, so I'm still satisfied with it. If you

I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau against this place and hope to take it further. I dropped off my tablet on Wednesday evening, I was quoted as takinbfone week to fix. I changed my mind (the tablet was cheap and it wasn't really work the $130 to fix). I tried calling but they had no answering machine and no one answered. I show up the next morning as soon as they open. Even though they have not done any work on the tablet they tell me they won't return it to me until I pay half. I ask them where it says on their website or on the receipt this policy. They tell me

Got my iPhone 6 screen replaced here after it cracked from being dropped, cost $124 with a new screen protector and was finished in less than an hour. Worked fine initially but over a couple of days, the touch function got progressively worse.
I came back to get it fixed, which was covered under warranty for the initial screen replacement (90 days). When I got it back I was told that I needed to replace the touch IC - even though touch function was completely fine prior to the first screen replacement, and they wanted to charge me around 200 for damages that I can only assume that they caused

The worst place to get your phone fixed. I had to bring my phone back three times and it's still not fixed. My phone now opens apps, changes screens and types messages all by it self!!!! I used to bring my phone here but the mgmt team has changed. The worst thing is they won't give me a refund until the next day because they are saying the owner isn't here to give me back my old cracked screen. They want their malfunctioning screen back and want to put back my broken screen. I don't live downtown and then back and forth with parking is becoming so expensive. This place stay

Amazing!! They repaired my Samsung phone after the technician at Tech Zone (in China town-Dundas and Spadina) had installed a knockoff and faulty screen. The technician at Ming Wireless even showed me the condition of the screen and the authentic Samsung stamp on the back, before installing it. My phone works perfectly now and they repaired it in just 30 minutes for a good price. Cellphone accessories like screen protectors and cases were discounted for people getting phone repairs which was great!!

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews!
I smashed the screen of my iphone6s and called about 4 to 5 places in Toronto that quoted me $200 to $250 to get this replaced. I was a bit hesitant to go to Ming's because of the Yelp reviews but for $140 I thought I would give them a try. Plus the location is right near my office so that helped.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful. He gave me the price and said it would take 2 hours to fix. He said there will be a 3 month warranty if something goes wrong, but not if I were to drop it again (duh).

I went to get my iPhone 5s repaired the had cracked. An older gentleman told me that it would be $100 and take an hour. He seemed quite charming and spoke of his other career before moving into this job. His young technician in the back kept his head down the whole time.
After the repair, I bought a screen protector for a few extra dollars. This was in January this year. Not 7 months later the screen starts having dead spots on it. Rather than spend money on a new phone I take it to Fixit on the Danforth. Another $100 and another screen protector. But this time the guy shows me that the screen

Phone repaired saturday. stopped working wednesday.
This was the response to my phone call...
"sorry, no warrantee, you must have dropped your phone"
"it must be another pre-existing problem you have with your phone"
"go to another store and see if they would warranty this"
This was a $200 dollar repair that I have been offered an amazing deal of another $150 to repair, for a second time, 5 days later. Phone was never dropped...LCD turned black as i was dealing a phone number.

So, the guy at the counter gave me an hour long speech about how I couldn't prove that my I had dropped my phone again and that's why it wasn't working. I understand where he was coming from but being guilty until proven innocent sucks! Anyway, after guilt tripping me for a while he agreed to fix it. My phone seems to be working amazingly now but LEGIT - they did a crap job prior to this.. Next time - I will just hand it in to my service provider and call it a day. Nothing crappier than feeling guilty for something you didn't even do!

I took my HTC One in to get the screen replaced. The price was good; however, the service was not. After they replaced the screen, the new screen was not quite placed on properly so the light for the home button shines through the screen and touching the screen doesn't work well when charging. When I realized there were problems and took it back that week to get it fixed, I described the problem to them and attempted to show it to them. They had problems communicating with me and refused to fix it. I have plenty of experience in the tech industry and their response in the store felt like incompetence

I hate this place. The woman is a miserable person. All the comments from others about this horrible place are all true. Hey lady maybe if you smiled and told the truth of the actual cost of repairs maybe you would get a positive review. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere that has actual customer service. I wish I could give this place a big fat O!

In response to Ming's reply, I believe I was there on Thursday, Sept 17, around 2:00 p.m.But I have never seen a different person at the counter-- has always been the same woman anytime I have been in.
As for returning, I appreciate your effort to rectify. The current issue has been dealt with, I will try again next time.

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE!!! Miserable, rude women behind the counter, made me wait while she took care of people behind me in line and then, when she deemed me worthy to serve, threw a pencil because I asked a question. I explained to her how rude she was and then told her what she could do, anatomically, with her store. Only gave 1 star because I had to. Read the reviews on the right. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

Unfortunate experience: I dropped my iPhone 5S and broke the glass screen. Everything else still worked including the headphone jack. I brought it to Ming on Dundas. Screen was replaced for 100 dollars. The next day I realized that the headphone jack was not working. I brought the phone back to Ming and explained that the headphone jack had worked prior to bringing the phone to Ming but now was not. I was then told that I would be charged to replace the jack (that was damaged while MING replaced the screen!) that sometimes things get "moved around" when the glass is being replaced, and

I took my Blackberry Bold 9000 here to have the LCD replaced (I dropped it). The repair was $100. Like most of these poorly run sketchy electronics shops the price varies depending on who you talk to, what time of day it is, the colour of your shoes and whatever other variables they have incorporated into their pricing model because I was quoted $90 on the phone. When I drew their attention to this oversight the response was a blank stare and, "No! $100 for LCD"
So I had it replaced since I had already walked all the way there from work and needed it done. I picked it up the next day
