Services
Acupuncture is a division of traditional Chinese medicine which possesses a 5000 years old tradition. It works through the insertion of needles into specific points (called acupoints), which clear the energy pathways(called meridians), and promote energy (Qi) to flow more smoothly and efficiently. This will stimulate and strengthen the body's natural healing abilities and improve organ functions.
Cosmetic Acupuncture, also known as acupuncture face-lift or facial rejuvenation, is an effective, non-surgical treatment used to reduce the signs of aging. It is based on the principles of Chinese Medicine, which involves the insertion of very fine needles into the acupuncture points on the face. This superficial insertion will increase blood circulation to the face.
Concussion is a traumatic brain injury. While it can be easy to get tests for it and receive advice to sleep and rest, that seems like that's all there is. You may have difficulties finding effective treatments that can assist your body's natural healing process. Acupuncture provides effective treatment for many symptoms related to concussion like headache, dizziness, nausea, confusion/foggy mind, poor sleep quality, and fatigue.
The pain of shingles can last from a few months to a few years depending on your health conditions. Pills can reduce the pain for a few hours and may have side effects. The drugs only treat symptoms, but give no cure. Acupuncture works great for shingles and postherpetic neuralgia. It can reduce the pain fast.

Jicai Xu is a very nice knowledgeable man, he is a doctor in China and here in Canada a registered acupuncturist and I highly recommend him for any/all of your pain management needs. I had sciatica pain and hip issues that cleared up after a few short visits. He was able to relieve my pain that a physio and massage therapist could not, also the cost was much lower. His office is very clean and professional, if you're looking for results I highly recommend you try acupuncture, Jicai will take good care of you. Two thumbs up!!

Years ago I had numerous treatments at this clinic, which cleared me of massive headaches for months and months. I’m ready to return to the magic of this clinic with a fresh set of complaints - and I’m very saddened to hear of its closure due to Covid-19. Hopefully this is temporary. The services at this clinic are superior to modern medicine. Dr. Xu’s approach is gentle, nurturing and holistic. He is an MD but he’s also a specialist in Chinese medicine. Mr Xu, Acupuncturist, Ph.D with extensive years of experience as well as being a former medical doctor in China is the best thing that could have happened to me. Dr. Xu is magic, particularly for his acupressure. After an accident resulting in a concussion and severe back/neck injuries, as well as severe bruxism, I was having extreme tightness and pain in my back, shoulders and neck that resulted in debilitating migraines almost on the daily. I could feel the difference immediately after my first appointment - but after seeing him regularly for a few months, I can confidently say that my migraines have subsided completely. I've had back pain for several months now and I've tried physiotherapy, chiropractic treatments and massage, but the results were not great. Then I tried acupuncture in Xu Acupuncture Clinic and after several times, it became better and better. The pain is much less now and I feel much better. Dr. Xu is very professional and kind. 2018-I visited Xu Acupuncture Clinic due to chronic pain caused by PMR and arthritis. After a few visits the chronic pain dissapeared. Dr Xu will use as many needles needed in order to treat your condition. What a releif, my body is now more flexible and the pain is manageable. I consulted with Dr Xu for neck and spinal issues, after seeing a chiropractor, neurologist, orthopedic surgeon and finally a pain management clinic and I am so glad I did. This was my first time receiving acupuncture and acupressure treatments and I can't believe how effective Dr Xu's approach and techniques worked to relieve the pain and give me back my mobility.
