Terrible place to do insurance business. First, I went there to do a new vehicle registration. I'm informed they don't do them. I said your an ICBC Agent why not. Agent just chooses not to no reason WHY. ICBC should not allow indv. Agents to eliminate services.
As I'm standing outside (more on this below) an elderly gentleman from the neighborhood happenstances by and sees me debating with agent an comments"these

My father purchased his home insurance at Willis Louie Insurance for over 50 years. Yes, it was a different time in the 1960's and the Chinese community had very strong personal and business relationships. Fast forward to 2021 and the client is only a transaction to make a commission. Purchasing home insurance on behalf of my father from Willis Louie was not the best experience. As I step in to review the policy details rather than just pay the annual renewal fee, no added value advice was offered. I posed questions that were not immediately addressed and I had to follow up with phone calls

The staff were rude, lazy, and uninterested. Downtown is littered with insurance companies... BCAA just by skytrain and across the street, another company. Not worth the effort to go up the elevator especially with street front alternatives. Customer service elsewhere cannot be worse than this place. Previous post by others likely fake.. .if you look, one of them shares the same last name as founder (I believe he is the new owner).
