Very fast service, got a repair man within hours to look at our Miele washing machine. I got an honest diagnosis - I simply used too much detergent, the machine itself was fine. I recently had a kitchen renovation and got my new appliances. Without realizing, I used an abrassive chemical that ruined the coating of my cooktop stainless steel control panel. I was an eye some! Called Maydone and Max answered. He was very professional and asked me all sorts of questions to understand the situation. He quickly assessed the problem and provide me with a quote abd estimate of the part. Got my part much sooner than expected. An exact match to what I had. I called Maydone to fix my dryer in November of 2021 in Toronto and they came a day and a half later. They diagnosed a faulty $80 part, took apart the dryer and replaced the part that they had on-hand! Cost was not cheap at $325 for about an hour of work, but I suspect it would have been similar with almost anyone. While they were there, I mentioned that my washer was taking a long time to cycle, and they cleaned out the filter for another $100 in about 15 minutes which resolved the issue. They were courteous and professional, but spoke little to no English so the explanations were a little rough

Scheduled service call with Maydone June 30, 2021 regarding ice forming on top freezer of fridge. I also mentioned that the lower fridge was not very cold so I had put dial setting on max cold -took 3 days to take affect. I pointed out icicles were dripping from the ceiling of freezer. I removed contents and he did an inspection. He checked rubber door seals on freezer and fridge areas and increased freezer dial to colder. He said there was too much food blocking circulation and door was not square which he adjusted. With the door being opened so long the ice melted.

Just called them (12:30pm). Got James on the phone. They can send someone later today between 3-6pm. They asked for a picture of the model/serial number plate (didn't specify that it was on the inner lip of the top opening, so I didn't have to pull out the washer). I called them back to ask if the machine needed to be emptied (we were in the middle of a cycle when it stopped); but James didn't know: the technician will tell us.
The visit was $80, which could be applied to the repair.
I'll update this after the repair tech's visit.

The technician came the same day, looked at the dishwasher, explained the problem and did not charge anything (the issue requires a more extensive diagnosis and repair which could not be done at that time). I was satisfied with the experience, even though we did not ultimately choose to repair the dishwasher
