Polar Ray-O-Max Windows
Simply put, Polar Windows manufactures windows and doors that stand the test of both time and weather. Polar was born in 1976 when we saw a need for high-performance windows that were built for keeping warmth indoors in the winter, and sticky heat outdoors in the summer.

We realized that traditional vinyl windows weren't doing the trick for the homeowners we talked to, so we created a whole new system for manufacturing and installing our own windows.Since then, Polar has grown significantly by cultivating relationships with every customer, offering innovative and custom designs, and recognizing global trends that maximize energy efficiency.
Services
Our two window frame choices have common high performance benefits and each with their unique benefits for added design and fashion appeal. Designed to perform well in extreme climates, our products - and our service - are backed by Polar's lifetime warranty that is unique in the window and door industry.
Polar windows and doors are dynamically engineered to help keep your home comfortable and your energy bills low. Our in-house development uses the most cutting-edge technology available, including our innovative Window Powered Home Technology, which offers whole home comfort and virtually eliminates condensation.
When it comes to external doors, you want yours to be custom designed to the dimensions of your existing opening, in order to create that air-tight, glass slipper fit. With Polar Doors, you can say goodbye to brisk drafts and heat leaks and hello to comfortable living, because our doors are built to keep the outdoors where it belongs - out!
The Greener Homes Grant is an initiative by the Government of Canada to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient, by providing rebates up to $5,000 for new window installations that meet the Greener Homes energy standards. Polar Windows has been known for high-performance products since 1976 through innovative design and by recognizing global trends that maximize energy efficiency.
Research proves energy-efficient windows and doors offer you one of the best returns on investment for any home improvement project and can help greatly reduce your carbon footprint. Natural Resources Canada has committed to help homeowners improve their home energy efficiency by providing up to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners make energy efficient improvements to their homes, supported by an EnerGuide evaluation.

We ordered and paid for a door on June 29 we were told it was a 3 week turn around, 6 weeks later our door fitter finally got the door only to find that the grommets that go around the internal beading was missing. The door fitter is still waiting for these so the door can be finished so overall 3 weeks has turned into over 10!!! .Not good service at all!!!

Having had Polar to do our last two houses we were keen to use them again. I emailed requesting a brochure, which Shannon sent through very promptly. We made our choice, and emailed detailed specification along with our contact details for a quote. This is where it went wrong. It was passed to Mark Preece who quoted a few days later, I replied immediately with a few questions and noting the handle was wrong on the door quote. 1 week and 3 emails later I still hadn’t had a response to the questions but two further quotes sent, getting more expensive every time without justification why-over £1

Trying to write an overall review here from start to finish before we even had the work done.
We found Polar Windows a little bit too pushy with their sales, and that is what put us off using them.
Mark Preece arrived at our property to give us a quote. He arrived and asked if he could use our toilet straight away. (No problem) When he came down stairs he asked for a coffee (again, no problem) Before we even took a look at the portfolio he asked us how we would like to pay?! I suggested finance would be the more suitable option and he told us to look elsewhere as he said Polar Windows did a bad

Would not reccommend. I have recently had the pleasure of spending £4500 with polar windows on some bifold doors. They promised me the doors for December 15 th then a week before delivery tried to blame the supplier and delay till January 12th. I complained to Richard Crowe the manager ( who has made a fake positive review on here of his own company) and not till I threatened to cancel the order did he promise the delivery of the frames but no glass.
They demand payment before delivery so you just have to hope your order is ok,They took the wrong payment their fault - then tried to not deliver

I wouldn't give them a one if I had a choice! Ordered one 44mm window, when the surveyor came out he said you can't have a 44mm window we only do 28mm so I phoned the office and spoke to the manageress who clearly didn't want to speak to me and was told by her that because I only wanted one window they would only do a 28mm frame unless I wanted to do the house I explained to her that I will be doing the whole house but only as and when I can afford to do them, she responded by saying one window wasn't worth there while! I could have taken them to unfair trading and forced them to do a 44mm window
