This is a quaint little inn; however it is dated. Some rooms and bathrooms do need updating. That said it is worth the time and effort to plan a stay there. I use it frequently for business trips. The view of the valley for the rooms facing the 101 is spectacular and sunrise through is a nice sight through your big picture window.

Stayed here for a night in late November 2021. It’s not the most picturesque building or location in the Annapolis Valley, but for some reason it felt oddly nostalgic. The lobby was actually very warm and welcoming. The rooms had dated furniture but everything was clean and the mattresses and pillows were comfortable - no complaints! The pool area is great! Hot tub is a good hot temperature and the pool is a great size. It’s not the best for little kids as it’s pretty deep, but for anyone looking to splash around or swim lengths, it’s perfect. Didn’t get to try the spa but it looked very

A great place to stay, we were celebrating our anniversary! The room was clean w/an amazing view! We did the romantic package and had the lobster dinner, well worth the $. We were lucky enough to have Alan as… our waiter for the evening and his suggestions/manner & service were second to none, tnx again Alan!
We did make it to the hot tub & pool, again, both great! Breakfast is booked online and finished off our stay w/a 5 star rating!!!
Tnx to the staff…

Where do I even begin with this place… We checked in on Friday afternoon and arrived at the hotel. First impressions were that I was warped to another time and place, they were going for this old lodge look with muskets and taxidermied buffalo and a yak on the wall. Not being one to judge a book by it’s cover we proceeded to check in. The young lady at the desk helped us and informed us that our complimentary breakfast was actually $5 each and we had to register on a website to order for takeaway (which we found out later did not function. One of the many broken things in this place).

Rip up the dirty carpet. Let customers know things are not up & running ( hot tub ) Clean the rooms better ( toilet & tub around drain ..dirty ! ) I didn't feel too safe on their balcony..tiles move with water under them. I will bath my dog when we get home . So not worth over $200 we paid .

Room was nice, clean, overlooked the back gardens. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, pool was nice wish the hottub was open but not under their control. Spa was very nice, staff very accommodating and prices very fair. Breakfast for $5 is very reasonable, overall a great spot!

Gone way downhill.. Not sure what has happened but The Old Orchard Inn is terrible now. The staff looks like they hate their jobs. The old married couple working in the dining room need a divorce. They are miserable. Food price has gone up and servings are much smaller. The Old Orchard Inn needs a major face lift. Don't waste your money. The blond lady at the front desk is horrible. It looks like new management that is trying to destroy what the Old Orchard Inn used to be.

We had a wonderful time for our yearly vacation, staff was on point and very friendly, pool time was great , we went as many times as we possibly could and even had the pool to ourselves the morning before we left. Breakfast was great, having never stayed at a 4 star hotel I was a bit surprised to have our room freshened up!!! It was so, so lovely to come back to , after a long day of shopping. Would love to go back someday!

Our room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it smelled like smoke (maybe it’s smoke free now but years of smoking have left a stench). The views are excellent and the staff friendly and flexible. I’d recommend eating in town vice eating in the restaurant, the food wasn’t great.

If the name conjures up for you the image of a charming, historic property, disabuse yourself of that notion before you arrive. It's a rather modest, aging hotel trying to stay fresh and modern and only partially succeeding.

The lobby's decor aims, I guess, at old world charm but fails hilariously. The passages on the third floor reek of crushed-out cigarettes, I guess from a time when smoking was allowed there. My room was partly renovated, but retained some decor and furnishings that were ugly and dated. And the desk staff failed to record our time to use the pool, causing confusion

On December 12, 2020 my now husband and I took advantage of the Inn's new elopement package. it was the best decision we could have made. the staff went above and beyond, the food was amazing, the service… flawless. I also had my hair, make up, and nails done at Eau Spa where the service was top notch. if you are thinking of eloping, I highly recommend The Old O.

Mother's Day brunch was excellent! They had a nice variety and selection of eggs, meats and salads. The steamed mussels were fabulous and a nice treat for me!!The staff was very attentive and kept our coffee hot and plates cleared. Dessert was sooooo good! Gluten free options as well! Can't wait to go back! The only suggestion I have is to split the omelette and carving stations. Have one for omelette, one for meat. Such a long line I didn't have the patience to wait.

Not "pet friendly", just "dog friendly". Room smelled really bad, worse than any cat would smell. Sheet on mattress wasn't fitted, it was just a tucked in sheet.

I should have known when I tried the bread that the rest of the meal would be disappointing. Had the digby scallops that came with vegetables and a corn and tomato salsa. I opted for the side of rice. The scallops were ok, nothing special. The rice was disappointing and bland. I added the butter that came with my bread to the rice, and it was still bland. The salsa was as bland as the rice. The veggies were good. Sadly for $26 neither the scallops or veggies were worth it. I then decided to get the breaded pickles to give my palette some flavour and again, heavily disappointed. It ended up being

This place is tucked away in the Valley and we decided to come here for our grandmothers 70th birthday.
We made a reservation at the restaurant which is huge and only had maybe one or two other couples in while we were there.

I looked online here to see what to order. I ordered a Caesar to drink first. It was okay, tasted watered down. I then ordered anther cocktail (sunshine breeze) or something like that. It was also okay.. next time ill be ordering a beer.

I ordered the pulled pork dinner and the BF ordered the fish & chips.

A few issues with the service.

Weekly I visit the Old Orchard Inn for lunch or dinner.

I am easy to please, I like their Club House served with skins or the Deluxe Hamburger served with fries. Both items are just $12.00 each, and they have several other options for the same price range.

As fancy as the place is, you're always greeted with a smile and you don't need to be all dressed up, everybody is welcome and treated with the same high quality service.

Although the menu is simple, the kitchen is open to special requests if you do not find something on the menu that you like. If you want a hot hamburger sandwhich

The Annapolis Valley is known for throwing words like 'inn' around like nobody's business which is why I wasn't too surprised to show up at the Old Orchard to realize it's more of a hotel than the Victorian, Blomidon, or any of the other inns of Wolfville.

At first sight, the lack of historic charm was a bit of a buzzkill particularly when paired with the stuck-in-the-eighties vibe. The rooms were comfortable enough with soft beds and seating areas complete with dated couches that aren't quite old enough to be vintage. But really, once we saw the view, nothing else
