Services
Physiofirst provides extended hours in order to meet the needs of those with hectic lifestyles. We offer appointments from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday - Friday. Research shows that with early intervention, injuries are likely to resolve more quickly. Given such, Physiofirst will attempt to provide an appointment time within 48 hours.
Physiofirst sincerely appreciates the ongoing patronage and support of our clinics by our many patients/clients. Doug is a practicing partner in Physiofirst and Physiofirst Virden. A University of Manitoba graduate, Doug is especially interested in Industrial Rehabilitation with a focus on Functional Capacity Evaluations and Work-Hardening and Conditioning Programs. He has worked with a number of elite sports teams, including the Neepawa Natives of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, and has provided on-field medical services for Premier Soccer clubs.
Q: Do I need a doctor's referral to attend physiotherapy? A: A referral from your doctor is not required to receive physiotherapy. Some private insurance companies, such as some Canada Life and National Blue Cross, do require a medical referral. It is best to check with your insurance provider prior to your first visit.
