Specializing in the top quality Bluegrass nursery sod, we offer complete sodding service including pickup, delivery and installation. Set up a regular schedule for your yard maintenance. After an initial consultation, we can set up an annual plan to make sure your yard is always at its best! If you love caring for your lawn, but just need some help with fertilizing and aeration, we can schedule those services.
Prepare your area by removing existing grass, weeds, rocks, debris, etc. The grade should look as you want it to after installation paying attention to drainage and evenness. If it's a delivery or installation order, they may require 1 to 3 weeks notice, so plan ahead. On the day you are to receive your sod, please be ready!
It takes at least six gallons of water per 10 square foot roll to produce 1 inch of water for that roll. This amount is what you'll need for the water to seep through to the bottom of the roll and make the ground damp/wet. This is especially imperative at time of install. Keeping the soil moist continuously usually means water light and frequent 2-3 times a day for the first 4 weeks.

If I could give zero stars to this business I would. The complete dehumanizing way that the owner of the company spoke to me is unacceptable for any business. We double and triple checked measurements the first time we ordered the grass and the first time we received the shipment of grass we were significantly short on grass and so we proceeded to order more grass to cover it. When we called the second time, we gave a boy (the son of the owner) the exact numbers 3 times for him to tell us how many palettes of grass that is, when he told us the amount was close to half of what we ordered the first

Do Not Purchase from Valley Sod Farm. ( Please look at the pictures for the proof of my statement here ). I ordered 1050 SF SA Grass and they told me this was the last day of the cut. The price was a little cheaper than other places. When my driver picked up the grass, it was 300 SF less than my ordered. I contacted the manager (Daniel) but he accused my driver vanished 300 SF grass on his way from the store to my house. Because my driver was a very good friend of mine but he was Latino.
I end up buying different grass from another place the missing 300 SF. I contacted my bank and forced the store
