Naturopathic doctors are licensed and board certified healthcare providers in the province of British Columbia with the education and training to provide diagnosis and treatment of your health concerns. Initial visits are one hour in length. Your doctor will take a detailed history, may do a screening physical exam, review any lab work, medications and supplements you are currently taking. Our goal in the first visit is to gain an understanding of the underlying cause of your health concerns and begin a preliminary course of action.
Our governing body is the CNPBC (The College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC). The College sets out standards and guidelines to ensure that ND's are achieving safe, competent and ethical practices. To obtain a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine candidates must complete a rigorous 4 year postgraduate training program after completing a minimum of 3 years undergraduate prerequisites.
Nutrient IV therapy delivers vitamins, amino acids, minerals and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. Hawthorne naturopathic physicians will recommend and prescribe IV therapy when we feel it is medically beneficial. We do not have fixed recipes, but rather formulate the IV based on your specific health needs and concerns.
