We know that there are a lot of different resources for information on pet care and it can be difficult to navigate through all this. While some information may be very useful and accurate, some can be quite misleading! Because of the high number of unwanted kittens, we strongly recommend spaying and neutering your kittens. They reach sexual maturity as young as 6-8 months of age. Therefore, we recommend having your kittens spayed (females) or neutered (males) at 6 months of age. Being old isn't a disease, but it does require some special considerations and extra care. We recommended wellness examinations and screening diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, +/- radiographs) every 6-12 months to catch potential issues early. These people are actually Angel's. I have never been so impressed and absolutely floored by the level of service, compassion, empathy, understanding and 200% over and above level of care. have been with various Vet's over the years in Kamloops and Whitecourt/Mayerthorpe and I by far prefer these beautiful souls. One of the key points I took note of was the legitimate discomfort with billing and adding charges to my bill for my Min-Pin that recently required hospitalization and an emergency visit late at night at the mayerthorpe location.
