We reserved a campsite and in the same day it was cancelled on us cause we called in to book and the lady on the phone did not explain what the costs were for everything all she had told me that it was $62 for 2 camp sites... Little did we know we had to pay per person to thinking it is 6 people per site... When asked she said we were adding more and more people but we weren't there was 4 adults and 3 kids for 2 sites but when asked a question she said she would cancel our sites and hung up. Not very nice. It could have been resolved without being hung up on.

The best! I come here every summer and it’s always a great day trip. The water is so nice and the beach is well kept. Lots of fun climbing the dunes, it’s worth the entry price. A hidden gem we have in Norfolk! It is physically difficult to get up the dunes so make sure the beach wagon is in service that day to get to and from the water if you are physically restricted in any way.

Very cool and unique beach! Definitely worth visiting!! Lots of things to do to keep busy. Easily make for a day trip.
If you have dogs you may not want to bring them as it can feel crowded on the beach and they have to be fully leashed so I may take away from the experience! How than that really cool place

We arrived there earlier than the opening time so we parked nearby and was greeted by the owner. We went into the park. I had a Nice Time with my 2 daughters and wife here for the day. It was a new experience with the sand on the hill and some corn field for pics. It is neat. My daughters played in the sand and in the water. We enjoyed it. It is a big place. They have a paying shower for $1 for 4 minutes. Decent. We took lots of pics and saw an eagle and birds living in holes on the sand hill. The staffs are friendly and courteous. We would definitely come back. I would give it 5 stars if they

I've visited this park on 3 seperate occasions now, and we love it. The owners and front desk clerk have always been super nice and helpful with me....so I don't understand the poor customer service reviews. I'm a single mom of a 7 and 9 year old, and they love it there. It's safe, and the other kids have always been great. My boys can ride around and go for walks alone, and I never have to worry. Seasonal families have been friendly and invited my kids to hang out with theirs around the fire. The Sand is great, the sites are clean. Lots of trees

Ontario's largest sand pile! Lol.
This is a family only park, the (mostly) trailers and campsites are very close together, so it's not for me overnight. BUT for a daytrip it's great! $12 each to get in, and drive slow straight to the hill.
The sand hill is steep, so it is unfortunately not accessible for some. The sand is soft and mushy, and the beach itself is quite narrow, but luckily it wasn't very busy when we went around 2pm on a Thursday and snagged a spot. There are change rooms just on the other side of the beach. Not much else to do there.
The waves were big and a bit rough, watch for

Just spent the wknd at Sand Hill Park and although our weekend was great and the physical location/space/layout of the park was lovely, the management staff lacked courtesy, customer service and simply - personable service. When questioned on the lack of information that was provided at time of booking and questioned their unreasonable position,… not only would management not listed/allow me to speak but offered no reason or common-sense. The park/beach/sand is beautiful and if you have no need to deal with management your experience will likely be great however any "hiccup"/issue to address

This is the best park I've ever camped at. The owners are wonderful and take pride in the park. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The beach is one of my favourites in the world and they have lots of other activities such as goats to see, a hayride, playground equipment, basketball court and a small bike course with some jumps. They even got out a bin of craft supplies for my son to create with. We will definitely be making Sand Hill Park our yearly tradition.

WARNING Do Not Camp Here! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
This past weekend was our first time camping at the Sandhills we stayed Friday and Saturday night. Friday night we arrived around 7pm to check in. My husband went in to check in and the woman staff member Sharon was extremely rude and offensive right from the start. Her comment to my husband was "Do you always look this negative?" Who says that to a customer that you just met 2 minutes prior? Our intention was to stay for the 2 nights but after the offensive comment and bad vibe, he decided to pay only for the one night in the case we decided

So my family and I just spent a weekend at this campsite. Before we even checked in we were met with 2 rude park employees, an older man and an older woman (I'm assuming that they also own the place). In my 20+ years of camping I have never been greeted by such rude people. They were unable to remember if something had already been paid for or not and offer a no refund policy which I feel is a good show as to the kind of people that are running this place. As far as the camping is concerned it is similar to most other campsites although this is the first one I've ever been to that charges
