We offer our students the most up to date information on driving laws and regulations, as well as vehicle handling maneuvers. Students must possess a valid Class 7 or Class 5 Learner's permit prior to taking any in car lessons. Study the 'Learn to Drive Smart' manual which is available online, or at all Service BC Centres.

10hr Driving Lesson Package Report

Student may either have 9 hours of training and one hour for the use of our car for the road test, or 10 hours of training and use their own vehicle for the road test. In car lessons are conducted one-on-one with the instructor. There may also be the rare occasion where two students may be in the car for pickup and drop off purposes.

Schedule Changes, Cancellations & Refunds Report

Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled by 6:00pm of the evening prior to the lesson. Students will be assessed a $40.00 administrative fee for any missed in-car lessons. This fee MUST be paid to the instructor at the next lesson. There are no exceptions. Please remember, we all like to get paid for our time and the instructors are no exception.

Fantastic instructors who make learning to drive an amazing experience for kids. My child now feels confident behind the wheel after in class and private driving lessons. Worth it 100 times over for parents to send their kids to Comox Valley Driving School....Let the pros teach your kids, take the stress off yourself as a parent, and the new driver you love. Wendy is AMAZING, she's a great teacher, very strict but wants the BEST out of you. Passed my class 5 with her. If you want to learn how to drive not only to pass the test but for safety and be a good driver, Wendy is the DEAL!!!!!!!!!!

I did my motorcycle MSTC Course with Wendy and Justin last summer and it was challenging and fun. It's clear that they both care very deeply for proper road safety. Wendy's drill sergeant demeanor might be a challenge for some people however I'd much rather have safe driving skills drilled into my head than a 'nicer' instructor. Thanks Wendy and Justin! I took this Motorcycle Safety Course in Courtenay last month, ultimately obtaining my Class 6 motorcycle driver's license! This is an impressive family operation, 100% committed to safety training on motorcycles. The owner/instructors, Wendy Wiseman and her son, Justin, are highly skilled professionals. They are dedicated to your successful completion of the course. Wished I had taken this years ago. Totally recommended!
